The machine worked best on the hardwood floors. I felt that, although it worked well on the tile and vinyl floors, because of the texture in the floors it did not clean as thoroughly the first time through. I have not yet tried it out on any of our carpets but expect that it will do a good job. Overall we're happy with the results.

I thought it was really good at picking up dog hair off my wood floors, but I wasn't sure about it actually cleaning. The picture is a wet rag I used in a little area in my hardwood kitchen after I "cleaned" the floors with the bissell. I used it on my rug with the proper roll. It basically put dirty water all over my rug and made it dirtier than before.

This is a very nice machine. It is 2 in 1 and cuts down on cleaning time. I got really tired of mopping & rinsing floors. It is lightweight & easy to manage. My son put it together for me. We tried it out in the hallway & then checked to see what we think. It cleaned the floor very well & vacuumed it as well. Easy to maneuver. I just love it. Fantastic for me. I have 2 dogs (one is only 10 mos old). Both dogs were adopted out of shelters. Teddie is just a puppy so it helps cleaning up the mess & making sure the floors are sanitary. Ty Ty (Tyson) is older than Teddie but still makes a mess every now & then.

I actually like to clean my tile & wood floors now, but most of all I can also shampoo my rugs at the same time. I finish my floors faster now, & they're much cleaner. I especially like that it has 2 tanks; 1 for the cleaner & 1 for the dirty water. It's quick & easy to clean the unit. Love it!

Used on tile and it takes several passes to clean dried things from tile. My main complaint is that it does not clean close to baseboards or cabinets on either side of the power head. Leaves about a 2 inch space on either side of power head not cleaned. That's what I see after first use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the CrossWave in December of 2022. I was excited to use on my porcelain tile to keep the tile and grout clean. I have used it regularly, but the brush/mop cartridge does not have enough strength to clean my tiles. I have to carry a rough sided sponge to rub on shoe marks or really dirty walking areas because the crosswave roller is not abrasive enough to clean those areas. Unfortunately, there is not and alternative brush roller. This Crosswave would be wonderful for light cleaning, but falls short for stronger scrubbing. I would recommend this for light cleaning only.

This was a lifesaver. The only downside is that the tank is small, and have to refill a few times to do my entire home. It cleans the floors so well that it doesn?t bother me much. My dog?s shedding gets really bad, but being able to use on both my laminate floors and area rugs seamlessly makes this purchase worth every penny!

I LOVE my Bissell Crosswave. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. It vacuums up nicely and mops just as well. I have laminate, tile, and vinyl. It does a great job on all three floor types. I refreshed my rug with it and was surprised how renewed the rug looked like afterwards. Bissell makes it super easy to clean the Crosswave after use. I will say the only cons with the Crosswave that potentially could be better are the noise level of the machine and also that it won't go in corners/ edge all that easy. These did not change the amount of stars I gave for this product because the amount of time and efficiency of the Crosswave is worth the trade off. Another recommendation I would make is to buy extra cleaning solution when you buy the machine.

I've been waiting for this machine for years! Seriously. I have a huge area of ceramic tile in my house. I've been using a steam cleaner for several years which gets the tile clean but can't get into the grout, which of course is where most of the dirt settles. Finally a hard floor cleaner with a brush that gets all the dirt! The machine is very easy to use and very easy to clean. I love the tray you put it in after use so you don't get water on your floor - brilliant idea. The brush is easy to clean, too. The only problem I had was attaching the handle to the machine. It took all of my strength to get it far enough into the machine to connect with the power source. It took me a few tries, but after I finally got the two parts together the machine worked just fine. I also love the fact that I can use it on areas rugs. Great product!

I don't know how this product has so many positive reviews, I think people want to believe it works but I promise, it doesn't unless you want only a decent vacuum which is not why you're buying this to begin with. I've had this for over a year, I have a 4400 sf rancher, the top floor is all hardwood floors and area rugs. I wanted this to work so badly but it doesn't. I have 2 cats and a dog, they track mud and debris into your home everyday. As a hardwood floor cleaner it is absolutely useless, I have literally gone over and over the same muddy preprint to no avail. It simply does NOT clean any kind of stuck on stuff on the floor AT ALL. I've tried on everything from a simple mud print to a smudge of dirt nothing and I mean nothing. I've ever tried stepping on the thing to make the brushes hit the floor harder, USELESS. If you want third for hardwood floors, I PROMISE YOU THIS IS NOT THE ANSWER. On carpets, ehhhh ok, I will say it has great suction power so it's a grear vacuum if you like heavy vacuums. I have 1 low pile cheap area rug ants 1 high pile, dense area rug. It does work well on my low pile, it saturates the carpet well and extracts well and I feel there is a noticeable difference aftwr cleaning. The high pile carpet, forget it, it's so thick it never saturates and even if you get it to by holding the button down forever, it will NOT extract it nope. Additionally, it leaves clumps ON YOUR CARPET, if you get too close to an edge it will leave solution and all the debris from your carpet all over, it's disgusting. If you have good heavy thick carpets, PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. This was one of the worst purchases I've ever made on floor cleaning machines, my steam mop worked better honestly. SAVE your money, I promise you it's almost completely worthless. Oh and if you write the company and provide in depth, helpful feedback along with suggestions on how it could perform better, THEY DON'T CARE. Customer service couldn't care less, i wrote an hour long email trying to be helpful because it had one thing going for it, suction. Nobody cares so I will NEVER BUY A BISSEL AGAIN, if customer service can't be bothered when someone tries to provide legitimate feedback, if you don't care about your customers I won't care about your company.
