I just got the machine and it was easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I followed the reading material and used the cleaning soap. My mess was truly a good one. I didn't think it would get my floor clean. I turned it on and the machine worked great. I was impressed. I cleaned the machine like it said to. Its funny I can't wait to use it again. Its a well made machine and I would say its worth the money.

I have been a Bissell consumer for years my first Bissell was a vacuum cleaner I have had it since 2002 and it still works I am a big believer in Bissell products. I have used other products that did not work for long like dirt devil STEAM RUG CLEANER IS A PIECE OF GARBAGE ONLY LASTED 6 MONTHS AND BROKE AFTER USING IT TWICE. I HAVE USED SWIFFER FLOOR CLEANER , LIBRAMAN FLOOR CLEANER MACHINE, TWO MANY TIMES I HAD TO PURCHASE PADS OR CLOTHS NO MORE SO DONE WITH THAT . SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY. ESPECIALLY WHEN CANNOT FIND IT IN THE STORE WHEN THEY ARE OUT OF STOCK. I ALSO OWN A BISSELL SPOT BOT WHICH I HAVE ALSO OWNED FOR YEARS.

The CrossWave was purchased to clean my area rug, tile and wood laminate floors. My first use of the machine proved to me that this was a good purchase! My area rug (light blue/white/yellow in color) was very clean when I was done. I used the area rug roller brush. the only problem that I had was cleaning out the hair that gets wrapped around the brush. Since I used the area rug cleaner - and made the large portion - I continued to use/test out the cleaning elsewhere. The machine leaves no streak marks when cleaning my wood laminate floors, but, using the rug solution left the floor with some sort of sticky film. Note to self. . . my area rug only needs to be cleaned with the small portion solution! I am very pleased with this machine and will recommend it to all my friends. I also like the cleaning tray - helps to keep the rollers nice and clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been a bissell consumer! I was so excited to receive our crosswave. The expected delivery was supposed to be in a Mon but we got it the Thur prior!! First we live in Montana with 7 dogs (Aussies so they shed) and 5 horses and the most bipolar weather. I was previously using a steam mop on our laminate flooring. This entailed sweeping, steaming in small patches to only follow with a dry rag so there was no streaking. A lot of work!!! I am a barefoot type of gal so a good clean is important to me. Our package arrived and within minutes we were ready to start. But my suggestion is to read what exactly the machine is expected to do because I have read some reviews that blow my mind. This IS NOT a vaccum to use on your wall to wall carpets. We decided to just go with it and didn't sweep and just started cleaning. Our floor was very dirty due to the melting snow so we had straw, hay, dog hair, and mud. Pros: I really liked the fact this is the only thing we have found that picks up the straw, the floor dried quickly and without streaks (and no having to use a dry rag!!) No this machine does not go clear to the wall,,, but c'mon use some common sense, you don't see the brush hanging out of the sides of the machine do you?? And lastly even as dirty as the floor was, I may have had to go over select spots a couple of times but I did not have to do a full second cleaning. I did empty the machine 1/2 way through more for curiosity than it needing it. I can see why pet hair can clog it, but ince again let's use some common sense. I was shocked how dirty our floor was! Cons: this machine is loud, the light only shines when using the spray- really not user friendly in that one as the directions say to go over a spot again without spray if you feel it didn't suck up enough of the solution, and the machine is heavy. Wouldn't really be feasible for an older individual if they have a lot of flooring. All in all this machine saves me so much time and cleaned so well!

The Crosswave is absolutely the best thing since sliced bread! (smiles) At last no more excuses for dirty floors. This lightweight magic machine does an excellent job. As far as cleaning close and narrow spots, I just spray a vinegar solution on those spots, wipe with a paper towel and throw the towel in the trash. No more bucket and smelly mops for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that I bought and just received the Bissell crosswave that recharges however I realized today after getting it and not using it yet that I didn't want to take it out of the box I cannot use the charging station because it would take too long for me to clean a 4000 square foot home and wait for it to recharge every time can I please return it and get one with a cord let me know thank you

We have pets the hair gets caught in the faceplate that protects the brush roller. Gotta stop and take ot off and clean it. The only difference between this and the PET vaccum is a fliter in the tank. The hair will barley make it past brush roller compartment. Let alone reach the tank!!! Its very expensive and doesnt work do not buy!

I never imagined how dirty my kitchen and hardwood floors were until I emptied the tank of murky water after using the CrossWave for the first time. YUCK! The biggest shock was the fine dog and cat hair (invisible to me on the floors) the machine was able to get up. I find that I'm cleaning the floors all the time now... and the added bonus is that my bare feet and socks aren't covered in dirt and grime anymore! This is hands down one of the best cleaning tools I have purchased in a long time. Thank you Bissell!

Used it once and performed great. I did no prep work. My floors were bad needing sweeping and mopping. It removed 100% of the loose debris on the floor and 98% of the spots. The two spots it couldn't needed scraped which is no fault on the machine since its not meant to do this.

We recently put vinyl planks in our living room and will eventually add it to our bedrooms as well. We have tile in our bathroom and kitchen. This is the most efficient floor cleaner I have ever owned. It's even cleaning my grout!!!! It is worth the money I spend to own this!
