If you hate mopping, get this NOW!

Oh my gosh! I have been looking for something that cleans my floor well. This is it!!! I mopped my floor before I used the Crosswave and the dirt that was still on it from mopping, shocked me. Easy to use and clean. I haven't tried it on the area rugs but love it on the tile in the kitchen and bathroom

Fantastic Product!

It is lightweight. Easy to use. Easy instructions. Cleans and vacuums fantastic. Floor is much brighter using the Bissell over mopping. No mess to hands, easy clean-up for being a Senior Citizen. I recommend this product to everyone. Cleans throw rugs with a breeze.

AWESOME!!!

You got to get one!!! This machine vacuums and mops at the same time. And my floors have never been cleaner!!! Was cleaning my laminate floors with microfiber mop and cleaner after vacuuming but this is so much easier and cleans a lot better, without leaving a residue that shows footprints like the other cleaner did. I LOVE IT!

More trouble than it's worth...

The Crosswave may be good for small areas, but as far as larger floors and rugs - it's not so great. The crosswave does not suck up the same amount of water it dispenses. It leaves streaks on the floor. I end up having to use a Swiffer to reclean and dry the floor. The Swiffer pad is dirty even after using the crosswave. Suction is not good on carpets.. Clean up is disgusting.. Having completely clean tanks, rollers, filters and touch dirty & wet parts every single time is time consuming and more work than it's worth! It also runs very loud and sounds like it's going to break everytime the handle is pulled back. I really wanted to love my Crosssave...I just wish I kept the box so I could return it. Thumbs down, Bissell.

Thanks for your feedback, JJ. It sounds like the brush area is getting clogged while you're cleaning your floors. If you notice this occuring, pause your cleaning and hold down the spray trigger to help clean out the foot area. If needed, empty the dirty water tank and run a quick clean out cycle. Please call us anytime if we can help with your machine at 1-800-237-7691.

Best Purchase of 2017

Great for scrubbing floors that end up cleaner than I ever thought I could get a floor. Easier than mopping and at over age of 70 that is important to me as someone with arthrities and back problems as well as knees. In addition our pipes recently froze and when they thawed water was all over the kitchen. Great way to get rid of all the water and in a very short time. Wonderful product!

Excellent product, cleans amazingly well

Bought the Crosswave just recently: Love: easy to assemble. Great instructions, basically, plug and play. The thing picks up yuck from carpets and floors that I didn't know was even there. Small profile makes for great maneuverability. Bought to clean up rugs and floors prior to Thanksgiving. Saw the commercial on TV and had to have one (and I'm not one of those 'see the commercial and gotta have it' kind of people). Only downside is the clumsiness of the power cord, but a small downside for a great result.

Nice floor cleaner

I got this to replace the another electric floor cleaner I purchased a few years ago. I hoped the Bissell would dry the floors more quickly - and it does! Also, the other cleaner doesn't do anything for rugs and the Bissell does. I did find that I need to use the Bissell mainly when there is daylight because the light on the unit only shines when pulling the trigger to dispense cleaning liquid and it's still not bright enough to see what I'm doing at night. I don't have hardwood floors, so I'll probably use the wood floor cleaning solution on my vinyl floors instead; not sure I could use this on my wooden stairs - might be too awkward. And I plan on exchanging the cleaning fluid between hard floors and rugs instead of buying another reservoir to add to my system. I also like how lightweight this unit is, it does make for easy cleaning and it vacuums very well. I've only used my unit a couple times, but clean up is really simple. Because I have four cats I do pick up lots of fur, so I recommend disposing of the liquid in a toilet and flushing it away. All-in-all a pretty nice unit.

Cuts floor cleaning time in half, saves your back

This hard floor cleaner is awesome! I have back issues, so anything to make cleaning my floors easier is a must have. No more pulling out the vacuum or broom before mopping! This appliance vacuums up dirt, pet hair and debris before it gets wet, keeping it from getting moved around with the water. It cleans my hardwood floors beautifully, with no streaks. The tray keeps any water from sitting on your floor, and makes cleaning the brush roll easy. It also has a holder for an extra brush roll, or you can remove the roll and air dry it in the holder. The long cord lets me clean my living room, dining room and kitchen without stopping to move the plug, and the dirty water reservoir is easy to dump and clean, while leaving your clean water to be used again. I can't recommend this product enough! I gave my steam mop to my Mom, and I use the CrossWave for everything from spills to deep cleaning. I'm so glad I bought this, it saves my back while keeping my floors clean in half the time!

Don't buy it!

I am a Professional Consumer Scientist and sent back a Crosswave to the company for a replacement because the water jets would not put out cleaning solution. The same problem is occurring with the replacement. Your Research and Development Dept. has not done its job. I am doing their job for them. The certified repair man told me that he sees this cleaner for the same problem over and over. I have investigated the design of the out-put jets and find them too small, poorly located and not easily unclogged. You should take these off the market until I can test a newer design. I have used wet floor cleaners for 35 years.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thing! Some people say it leaves dirty streak marks. It does it you go fast or drag it at an angle. However, going back over it once sucks it right up and makes it clean. This is great for during the week or needing to spot clean real quick. I'll still use my steam mop once on the weekends but other than that, this seems to do just fine. I would make sure you have 3 rollers on hand. That is like the biggest issue. I just had knee surgery and this arrived just in time. This cut the time to vacuum (yes, I vacuum my kitchen floors as our carpet sheds and the dogs drag so much in) the floor and then have to turn around and mop. I want to say about 650 sq ft maybe a little more of our house is hard floor and I was able to do it all in the time it would have taken me to do just my kitchen which includes vacuuming it. If you go at a slower pace it cleans very well. Some areas I go over once then come back to that area again about 30 seconds later and the dirt comes right up. It is however, a little harder to clean next to moulding depending what the dirt is.
