Just stop debating the cost of the machine and if you think it's worth it because it is worth every single penny!! I have very very old hard wood floors in my home that would never look clean but now they have a little bit of extra life in them. I have severe lower back issues that make mopping and vacuuming next to impossible sometimes for me but this machine takes all that worry away for me. With two dogs that constantly shed I was concerned that it wouldn't get the hair and mop but it took care of both with ease. I do have a simple issue with the fact the machine doesn't get flush all the way against the baseboards or bend enough to go around the toilet to well. I'm still working out the best system for myself to clean those issues but it isn't enough to discourage me from wanting to use it daily. This is really a wonderful machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the Bissell Crosswave for the first time today. My floors have never been cleaner. Loved the convenience of vacuuming and mopping at the same time. Before I would sweep then take a rag and bucket of water and would wash then dry the floor using a combination of duck walking and on my knees. This product makes cleaning so much easier and definitely cleaner. Still have to mop small places, like around the commode and areas the Bissell won't fit.

I read the reviews before I purchased the Crosswave yesterday. Used it to clean upstairs Pergo. Works like a charm! Leaves floor dry and clean unlike the Hoover Floor mate. I have owned and purchased 4 floor mates over the past dozen or so years and this is 10 times better! I can't speak to how well it vacuums or cleans carpeting since I always vacuum first before cleaning floor and we no longer have carpeting in the house. But for cleaning laminate and/or vinyl this unit works like nothing else!

I debated between 3 and 4 stars. I love my CrossWave but it only cleans up to 1 1/4 " from the wall. That leave the edge molding, the corner and one and a quarter inches of floor I have to get down on my hands and clean around the whole room...and that is a real pain! If this reached all the way to the wall I would give it 5 stars.

I have used bissell for years. Great machines and really great customer service/support. I have recommended this to a few friends and now they are believes also. Don't push around dirty water on your floors any more ladies! Get a bissel mop/vacuum. You will love it!

Received as a Christmas gift - but I really asked for it so my husband would use it since he does most of the floors! With 2 dogs and indoor/outdoor living, our floors take a real beating and show everything! Today I pulled it out and tried it for myself in the bathrooms. That it was lightweight and super maneuverable was great as I was cleaning around toilets in tight spaces. It was easy to disassemble and clean when I was done. I actually enjoyed doing floors!

I have 4 adult cats and 12 new kittens in my home right now. The messes were adding up fast. Pulling out a vacuum and pail was no fun & very time consuming. I love this new all in one to due up a necessary chores in more then half the time & mess. LOVE that it is very very quick and easy to clean also. Thank you Bissell for a personal helping hand.

Eases the chore of cleaning our Pergo floors, which really helps with our pups little footprints. Didn't give it 5 stars because we find we have to vacuum lightly first due to dog hairs clogging the machine. However, I still highly recommend this terrific timesaver when dealing mostly with tracked-in dirt.

While the CrossWave is effective on carpet and smooth surfaces, it doesn't excel at either. Maybe a better brush roller for different surfaces could improve cleaning. Or it might be a good idea to include two different rollers one for smooth and another for carpet in each box of the CrossWave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It worked great until it didn't. There are little squeegees that get messed up if you floor tiles aren't perfectly even. But no replacement for them. In fact, except for brushes and filters there are no parts.
