Pretty good vacuum. I have 2 dogs and 2 kids, so the floors get pretty dirty in just a day. However, it can't get stuck on stuff off the floor. It can handle dried spills (if you go over it a ton) and dirt, but I noticed multiple spots that I'd go over a ton and it wouldn't even budge but came off easily with a washcloth. My swiffer could do better with the scrubbing mop part but i did sweep beforehand just in case it was easily breakable and it got a ton of dirt and hair that my broom didn't. I like it after first use for light cleaning. Hopefully it doesn't break for a long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great concept but a failure at both being a wet jet and a vacuum. First, it didn't come with any accessories, it is only meant to clean floors. No attachments for stairs, couches, drapes etc. The only time a light comes on is when the trigger is pulled for the wet jet so you can't see going under furniture, which is difficult anyways because this vacuum doesn't lay flat. The wet jets don't spray evenly so there are constantly lines on the floor. The rollers stay wet so dirt and grime cling to them and when you go onto your rugs the dirt and dust transfer into the rugs. Just gross. For those with cats, litter touches the wet rollers and turn to wet clay and clog the system. The vacuum portion isn't really strong enough to suction litter out of tile grout. Just leaves it there wet. I had cut my hair and tried to vacuum up the little pieces left behind but the vacuum failed. It suctioned up some and then I'd move the vacuum forward and they'd all fall out. Emptying the dirt container is made more difficult because of the wetness. Dirt,dust, hair, fur,litter is now all wet and glued together and didn't empty when tilted over a garbage can. Plus the container itself has so many grooves and pieces for stuff to stuck to. Really,really gross. It's not a wet jet and not a vacuum. Needs work

We are in our 70's and I saw this cleaner on late night TV and taped the infomercial for my wife. The next day she watched it and we ordered a CROSSWAVE. It worked so well after the five year old grand kids (twins) made a mess, I went out and bought a second one for their parents. I have cork floors which is a soft wood floor actually and they just shine after using the CROSSWAVE. Only one minor thing could be changed, I wish it had a side suction on the cleaning head so I could get up closer to the wall. But as it is it is still the best cleaner I have ever used.

This machine is a life saver! I've finally reached that age when household chores are somewhat difficult and my floors were a particular problem. This machine has made it possible for me to continue cleaning my own home for the foreseeable future and I could not be more grateful! I used it for the first time yesterday, and found it very easy to assemble and operate. Better still, it left my floors not just clean but shinier than they'd been in years. I'm recommending it to all my friends and will continue to sing its praises until every one of them buys one.

I finally did it, I tried out my new Bissell Crosswave floor cleaner yesterday and I gotta say I really like it. So I have to tell you about it. I just did the downstairs linoleum floors and the throw rugs in the shop, because they have been there and taking a beating for over 20+ years. Good test. In the shop, there were ground in grease spots that were minimized, but not completely removed, which is more than I expected. I suspect they will be gone in subsequent cleanings. I wanted to get accustomed to what the Crosswave does and how best to operate it before using it on the new upstairs floors, especially the fussy Marmoleum in the kitchen/family room areas. I anticipate great results on those new floors. The Crosswave is definitely a keeper. In a review, someone complained about having to clean it. I didn't find it difficult at all, because I did it right after finishing and everything was still wet. It comes apart quite easily without the need of tools or cussing. Although it is made almost entirely of plastic - what isn't? - it is quite stout and well designed. I did not spot and weak areas that might fail. If you have a lot of hard floor area, I highly recommend the Crosswave to keep them clean without you having to raise a sweat.

I have seen and heard so much about this product and knew I had to give it a try. This is by far the best bissell product I have ever owned. I unboxed it and immediately went to work on my freshly mopped floor. It was UNREAL how much dirt and grime it got off of my floor in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend this product if you have any kind of hard flooring. Game changer!!!

I purchased so it can make things easier for myself when I vacuum and mop, this machine was a waste of my hard earned money. I wish I would of returned after 1st time using it. To much to clean after just one use. I would not recommend at all.

This is the absolute worst product I have ever purchased. I got it for my mom for Christmas to make her cleaning routine easier. It made it ten times harder, the mop leaves streaks behind that you then have to wipe up with a cloth and if you don't the floor is ruined. There are multiple of these marks around our house. So then she thought that she will just use it to vacuum the (suction power) puts more dirt on the floor then what was originally there. One star

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just purchased the Crosswave and used it right away. It really works great! The only complaint I have is that there isn't an attachment or a way to get in the corners or hard to reach areas. Other than that our floors look great!

Its an awesome machine! Twice the work in half the time! Im disabled and floors are hard for me to get done, it would take me a day to sweep, a day to rest my back, and when it came to mopping which i was old school mop and bucket several days and never done. Before starting all over again. This is a Godsend to me. A day for each floor! Love it so much i bought the Pet Hair Eraser too!
