I would have given this four stars but there are a few things that needed to be adjusted. First it does an amazing job cleaning surface stains. But it does not hit very well against the base board. You will need to mop that area for complete cleaning. Additionally if there is sticky surface or stuck on stain you either have to go over a few times or you have to pull out the mop. I think over all it's a good purchase if you want to clean up an immediate mess, it cleaned my dog food area good and you want to just maintain cleanliness it work well. But eventually you will have to pull out the old fashion mop to get a deep clean...no regret of purchase.

I spilled some marinara sauce on the kitchen floor and was getting ready to go to the movies....so I thought let's see how good you really are...used my unit on it, it cleaned it all up! Of course I had to clean the machine today which was very easy and am now cleaning floor with fresh brush etc...amazing...love, love, love it....I have Lupus and back surgery so very difficult for me to bend or use mop etc. thank you omg much for the Crosswave, it is marvelous!

This product does not work if you have pets. I have dogs and I can sweep and swiffer before I use my bissel and it gets clogged with hair. It doesn't take much hair to get it clogged. I can clean it out and then it happens again within 20 secs. It was a waste of my money. It takes more time trying to use it when I have to stop to clean it. Don't buy if you have any pets that sheds any amount.

I love the concept, however pick up tabk is too small. I spend more time cleaning the machine than i do the floors..took me 4 hours to do walk way paths only in a tiny apartment...i love the concept i would live the puck up tank to be size of reg vacuum canister. ..cleans really good just not a time saver, as a matter of fact takes hours because if there is pet hair or dirt anywherei n that machine, it will not work well.. if they ever improve it, i would upgrade..

I ordered this after thinking about it & reading multiple reviews. I really didn't think it would meet the expectations but I was wrong. This works great. We have 2 cats & 2 dogs & I really love being able to vac & mop at the same time--it saves sooo much time & effort! I would REALLY love it if it were possible to steam & vac at the same time but this is still excellent! I've only used it twice so far but if it continues as it has, I would definitely recommend it!

I have both the 1940 steamer and then went back and bought the CrossWave. I am not normally impressed but you have won me over on these products. The only thing I would like to see changed is an adapter and a pad for the steamer than you sit it on rather than have to fit the pad around the bottom of the machine,,, both these products are stellar, the pad is my only gripe! I wish so much that I had bought a bissell vacuum last time. Can't wait for a chance to win one sometime since hubbie is going to throw a fit if I buy another vacuum HA... thanks for 2 great products!

This machine is a life saver! I've finally reached that age when household chores are somewhat difficult and my floors were a particular problem. This machine has made it possible for me to continue cleaning my own home for the foreseeable future and I could not be more grateful! I used it for the first time yesterday, and found it very easy to assemble and operate. Better still, it left my floors not just clean but shinier than they'd been in years. I'm recommending it to all my friends and will continue to sing its praises until every one of them buys one.

We are in our 70's and I saw this cleaner on late night TV and taped the infomercial for my wife. The next day she watched it and we ordered a CROSSWAVE. It worked so well after the five year old grand kids (twins) made a mess, I went out and bought a second one for their parents. I have cork floors which is a soft wood floor actually and they just shine after using the CROSSWAVE. Only one minor thing could be changed, I wish it had a side suction on the cleaning head so I could get up closer to the wall. But as it is it is still the best cleaner I have ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product 3x a week. I clean it after every use but you can't just clean it as you guys say to. Because, of the small areas that are constantly clogged by the smallest amount of dirt. So, I have to disassemble this every time. Don't waste your money. I'm about to burn mine

This is an amazing product. I have a fluffy Pomeranian and I also have a lot of hair. I vacuum every day! I have tile, wood and area rugs. Not only were my floors spotless but I can't believe the hair and dirt it picked up. There was no dust for me to go back and wipe up after I used the Bissell. I have been telling everyone what a great buy this was!
