The Crosswave is amazing it's light weight, can be maneuvered easily, so easy to use and maintain does not leave carpet so wet . But for my experience it's not so tough on old dried stains on carpet. I live on an apartment so i am mostly carpet. i like to clean my carpet often because i have a 11 month old baby who puts everything in his mouth. My baby scatters fruitloops every so often on the carpet after chewing on it a bit, so its wet and the color of the fruit loops stains the carpet once it dries. So i run crosswave over it twice, thrice, four times nothing. I tried to use all the brushes with it but does not do much. It made me think that i might be wrong using it on a carpeted floor. It is only to be used on area rug or hardfloors? because it works perfectly well on both just not my carpeted floors. Overall a great product make me confident to let my baby play on the floor without having to worry about it being dirty. Its still 5 stars for me because it does work great on most surfaces

PROS: The best feature is just how CLEAN it gets everything! Its AMAZING how much dirt it picks up out of the rugs AND on the bare floors. Im always in disbelief when i go to dump it after using it in a smal area on what i thought was a mostly clean floor. Its SUPER lightweight on bare floors but its a little heavy on our thin rug unless you go WITH the grain of the rug fibers. VERY EASY to clean and love the cleaning/drying tray and how it holds water for the vacuum to sort of “self clean” itself. It even reaches further up under the edges of our furniture than i expected. CONS: Pricey (but WELL worth the money!), its not cordless, can be harder to push on certain thicker rugs/carpet), if you have pets, you may want to pay the difference and get the Pet model. I believe it can handle longer pet hairs and also may have a bigger dirty water tank bc i have 2 cats and 1 Austrailian Shepherd with SUPER long hair and i vacuumed ONE of my 8x10 rugs and had to dump it twice bc of the HUGE CLUMPS of doghair!

Wow what a nice product! Was so excited to get the Bissell Crosswave. I have hardwood floors as well as vinyl flooring. I could not believe how dirty the water was from cleaning the hardwood floor in the kitchen area. My floors looked great afterwards. Nice smell to cleaning solution. Invested in ordering some extra brush rollers to have on hand and parts are a reasonable price. It is a bit noisy but it's how well it cleans that matters. I have had many Bissell products and still own my Green Machine but have just replaced that with a ProHeat 2X Revolution carpet machine. Bissel keep investing in great products!

I was really not sure i wanted this at 1st I read all the reviews and everyone loved it so i said to myself, "self, everyone else loves it, why not me?" It was a whole lot more pricey then I wanted to spend, but again, all the great reviews were talking back to me telling me "it'll be worth it! If you don't like it, just return it ." OMG! I can't believe i actually found something that works FOR me instead of against me! I used to sweep, & Swiffer......my Swiffer is in the garbage can now. The Bissell Cross Wave vacuumes and mops at the same time! I am just so excited! Once the brush roller gets wet, i just go over my wood laminate floors a few times again to kindof "buff" it to a shine. We have a new puppy. Puppy is as puppy does so, when her little accidents happen, i just pick it up, flush it, and do a quick pass over with MY NEW Bissell Cross Wave it leaves a lemon scent. Puppy is as puppy does again so when she finds something to tear apart and chew to bits and pieces, who vaccuumes it up? MY NEW Bissell Cross Wave! Where was this machine all my life? I just can't rant & rave enough about this thing! If you're thinking of buying this, go ahead! You won't be sorry! If I could I would buy everyone one of these! Everyone should have one! I'm telling ya, I absolutely just love mine! cons: not good for edges or corners.....but hey, i can live with that.

I hate to clean. I have 2 dogs and when we put in hard wood floors it got even worse because cleaning meant a 2 step process of vacuuming and wet mopping. When I saw this machine I thought I had nothing to lose by trying it. The first time I used it, it took several washings to get clean water but since then, I use it regularly and it works great! It is easy to use, I can do the living, dining and kitchen in my small Cape Cod home in one tank. Because it is easy to use, i pull it out all the time just for quick clean ups. My only issue would be that I haven't been able to find the Bissell Hard wood or multi-surface cleaners in any local store. Even the ones that sell the machine. I wish I didn't have to order it on line :o(

I purchased the Bissell Crosswave, I could not believe how much dirt, and pet hair was in my house. I always used a broom and mop everyday. I think I was just moving the dirt around. I love the cleaner, I have told as many people as I could about the Crosswave. I would definitely purchase it again. I love it. Thank you Donna Helms

I definately debated buying this but reading the reviews, I thought I would give it a try. This is the best thing ever. No more filling up buckets and cleaning mops. One step and your done. Easy to use and couldn't believe how much dirt it picked up off my floors even after vacuuming. I would Ihighly recommend this product.

I absolutely loved my Bissell Crosswave. Used it 3-4 times a week. Easy to use. Cleaned my tile floor beautifully. Amd did a great job on my carpets to refresh them. I loved it so much I purchased one for my daughter as a home warming present. BUT 1 day before it 2 years, it stopped working. Needless to say, I am very upset. As you may all know' these bissells are not cheap and for it to only last 2 year is a waste of money. I am looking for something to replace my crosswave, but not sure what with yet. I want to make sure the next wet vac floor cleaner last more the 2 year. And that is why i only gave it a 1 star. Otherwise it would have been a 5 start. But the long term value it very important when spending money on a vaccum.

Easy to use. No vacuuming or swifting hardwood and tile floors before cleaning. I used to hand clean all my floors, not any more. My floors have never been so clean. I have two Shelties with lots of hair and live in the Northwoods. My weekly floor cleaning time reduced fifty percent. Also it is light weight and easy to assemble and clean. Ninety percent hard wood surfaces in my home.

I received my new Bissell Crosswave 1785F this morning and used it all over the house today. It is light and easy to use. It only used half of the reservoir . I absolutely love it. I could not believe the dirt that was left from my last vacuuming and mopping. The only draw back is that it will not get up close to the wall boards or in corners. I would love to have an attachment to use for the areas that it will not reach. When I was finished with it, the clean up was so easy. And it has it`s own storage tray. (Thanks Bissell)
