This is a great floor cleaner ! I have two dogs so was worried about the hair mucking up the machine, it works great! The floors are so clean after I use it. I am always looking for what works best on my floors and have gone thru so many machines but this is the one that works. Bissell makes cordless vacuums that I love if they just applied that to this machine it would be perfect !

I have ceramic tile and Pergo floors, and two big dogs. I have had this unit for about three years, and before I got it, I used to get down on my hands and knees to wash the floors. That became hard on me due to issues with my back and knees. This does the job well with minimal effort. I usually clean a section, then dry the floor with a towel to get it bone-dry. It can take a 2-3 passes to clean the heavily trafficked pet areas. I would definitely recommend it. It is easy to use, and easy to clean up the unit after use. Well worth the expense.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What sucks about it is that u have 2 hold the trigger 4 soap solution the entire time, which is a pain. Having a button or something 2 hold the trigger down would b SOOOO much easier. & the light that comes on when u press the trigger is hard 2 see in the daytime, so im constantly focusing on seeing if its coming on or not.

I have difficulty with cleaning my floors and this machine makes it possible to do my own cleaning again without pain. It really makes my floors clean with little effort on my part. I've had Bissell carpet cleaners before and now that I have all wood floors it is much easier to clean with this machine. I have 2 dogs that shed and like to track in dirt.

It did not work the way it looked on tv. I saw it on tv and said to myself that would make cleaning up so much easier. I would not have to make mop water and have the floors wet so my grandma will not fall and the dogs would not track dirt and footprints on my floors.

I've purchased every kind of mop for hard wood floors available. This is by far the best on the market. Swiffer and other brands leaves a haze on hard wood floors. Bought this one and cleaned all my floors as soon as I got home with it. Now clean with no haze! If you have indoor/outdoor pets, this is a must have!

We purchased this Bissell Crosswave 1785 Series this year on 03/07/2019 and we are definitely NOT pleased with the performance of this cleaner. We have used this cleaner approximately 5 times. It does not pick up dog hair and does not always pick up all the dirt. When we tried to use the wet vacuum, it leaves dirt streaks on the floor.

I am the Mom to three Labs, so lots of muddy feet and HAIR!! This machine is an answer to my prayers! The dog hair, wood chips (labs love to chew!), leaves and mud.......GONE! I would love to show you a picture of just what was picked up but I am too embarrassed by the mess! If this was enough to sell me on this machine, it cleans itself! What more could you ask for? Thank you to the investors!

After a couple months of use (and an additional guest dog), this is still the best appliance I invested in. I do see an occasional streak but I think I'm giving it way too much fluid. It works well on rugs but not on cloth-type rugs. I wish it has attachments for furniture that will make it easy to use for sofa and/or steps. I use Fabuloso instead of the Bissell floor cleaners and it seems to work just fine. I find that its easier to use clean by running it on the stand first then removing the container for dirty water, the filter, the brush, etc. I do thoroughly clean it and remove any hair clogs. This is not to use for deep-cleaning for rugs/carpets as I don't think it's designed for that; however it's great for getting the spill taken care of vs. dragging my carpet cleaner.

I have light colored ceramic tile on my lower level. I also have two elderly cats. The Crosswave did an adequate job on the surface grime and was easy to move around. The pump was quite noisy and IMO somewhat stingy with cleaning solution. In order to clean grout lines I had to put the switch on "rug" and do multiple passes to get enough solution to clean. I also think there should be a "PET Roller" product made to allow for deeper cleaning. I did learn not to allow the Crosswave to go over the cord as it will wrap around the roller. I loved that I did not have to vacuum first and the unit did a great job picking up litter and pet hair. I also appreciated the large solution tank.
