I got this to replace the another electric floor cleaner I purchased a few years ago. I hoped the Bissell would dry the floors more quickly - and it does! Also, the other cleaner doesn't do anything for rugs and the Bissell does. I did find that I need to use the Bissell mainly when there is daylight because the light on the unit only shines when pulling the trigger to dispense cleaning liquid and it's still not bright enough to see what I'm doing at night. I don't have hardwood floors, so I'll probably use the wood floor cleaning solution on my vinyl floors instead; not sure I could use this on my wooden stairs - might be too awkward. And I plan on exchanging the cleaning fluid between hard floors and rugs instead of buying another reservoir to add to my system. I also like how lightweight this unit is, it does make for easy cleaning and it vacuums very well. I've only used my unit a couple times, but clean up is really simple. Because I have four cats I do pick up lots of fur, so I recommend disposing of the liquid in a toilet and flushing it away. All-in-all a pretty nice unit.

This machine does a great job cleaning. After you get the hang of taking it apart after cleaning is done to clean it, it's a snap. We have a lot of pet hair and recommend the final cleaning step of rinsing machine in the base that's provided for that purpose.

This little jewel has been needed for a long time for we seniors who still have to do our own housekeeping. No more heavy backbreaking,, clumsy , noisy, uncontrollable, rented equipment to lug around from room to room. AND THE DARN THING EVEN CLEANS ITSELF !! if we could afford to, I would purchase another one to have on hand in case this one lasts so long that this model is discontinued. It really does a good cleaning job and no more wet, soggy carpet Most of all, using this cleaner does not bother my back condition. Whoopie doooo !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I been using the crosswave I have been noticing when floor dries it has wheel marks and brush marks everywhere. I have tried doing it different ways it still leaves marks. Have to go behind with my spin mop which is frustrated. My daughter brought a steam vac it does the same thing . Then can't get close to baseboards have to mop around base boards.

I'm a believer...after reading all the "I love it!!" reviews I was a bit skeptical that these were all paid for reviews. But I went for it and brought this product home. My kitchen is pretty small but a high traffic area. you got the cat food spills, syrup, fruit juice spills from the kids and lazy single mom who's too overworked to want to clean up every spill that happens around the clock...but guess what you have to do it. after reading the brief manual and following instructions on water/formula levels, I was done cleaning in less amount of time than it took to read all the paperwork it came with! I enjoy the simplicity of it and how it actually dries right before my eyes. it cleaned up the dried syrup with about three passes and everything else with one motion as long as you keep the roller primed and wet. clean up wasn't so bad, but that's my reasoning for four stars out of five. you have to take apart the filter and dirty water tank as well as the roller and wipe down any extra mess that was caught in the chamber (for me it was wet cat hair...gross...)but awesome that my floor was left so clean with no leftover grime! I have tile throughout my house and laminate in the rooms so I've skipped the entire sweeping portion of clean up and went straight in with this wet vac and I have to say its holding up and working time saving miracles for me. definitely worth the coin if you follow the instructions.

We have 4 dogs and 2 cats, so I usually vacuum before using this, just to avoid hair clogs, and i clean it throughly after ever use. However, this product was a gift and I raved and raved to all my family and friends about it. Until last night when mid-kitchen, the roller stopped moving. There were no obstructions. I turned it off and back on. Unplugged it, plugged it back in. I tried everything I could find online. Nothing. Best I can tell, the motor responsible for turning the spinner, died. I loved this product, but now I'm just incredibly disappointed.

Before I got the CrossWave, I would have to vacuum or Swiffer the floors, then wet Swiffer, then wait for them to dry, leaving footprints if I stepped on the floor before it was completely dry. Now, I use the only the CrossWave and the floor is dry quickly and I no longer leave footprints! I love this.

Just stop debating the cost of the machine and if you think it's worth it because it is worth every single penny!! I have very very old hard wood floors in my home that would never look clean but now they have a little bit of extra life in them. I have severe lower back issues that make mopping and vacuuming next to impossible sometimes for me but this machine takes all that worry away for me. With two dogs that constantly shed I was concerned that it wouldn't get the hair and mop but it took care of both with ease. I do have a simple issue with the fact the machine doesn't get flush all the way against the baseboards or bend enough to go around the toilet to well. I'm still working out the best system for myself to clean those issues but it isn't enough to discourage me from wanting to use it daily. This is really a wonderful machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the Bissell Crosswave for the first time today. My floors have never been cleaner. Loved the convenience of vacuuming and mopping at the same time. Before I would sweep then take a rag and bucket of water and would wash then dry the floor using a combination of duck walking and on my knees. This product makes cleaning so much easier and definitely cleaner. Still have to mop small places, like around the commode and areas the Bissell won't fit.

I read the reviews before I purchased the Crosswave yesterday. Used it to clean upstairs Pergo. Works like a charm! Leaves floor dry and clean unlike the Hoover Floor mate. I have owned and purchased 4 floor mates over the past dozen or so years and this is 10 times better! I can't speak to how well it vacuums or cleans carpeting since I always vacuum first before cleaning floor and we no longer have carpeting in the house. But for cleaning laminate and/or vinyl this unit works like nothing else!
