I waited until I had used this product several times before I decided to write a review. I have several cats. They have access to a fenced "outside" room. So, they come in with muddy paws a lot. This cleaner is awesome. Saves me soooo much time, and I am cleaning my floors more often. I am a little OCD, and I do want a clean house. And, I do want my pets. I will admit that sometimes I pre-clean with my vacuum to get up scattered kitty litter. Then I use my Crosswave. I love it and it does a great job. I don't find the cleanup of the machine after use any more tiresome than cleaning up a cordless vacuum. Highly recommended. I have used it on wood floors and area rugs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a rug in my cat room that I needed to clean and went from a carpeted place to hard floors so I was worried about cat litter, hair etc. but this thing works just as good as my Bissell Pet Pro I had for my regular carpet. I saw reviews that this was not very good on throw rugs but so far I'm impressed! That cat rug was gross but it's nice and clean now.

Just not for me. I found myself not mopping as often as I should because I dreaded cleaning it. It takes more time to clean it than it takes to clean your floors. Plus it doesnt get every inch. I have a dyson that sweeps the floor very well so for me, im thinking of purchasing the Bissell spin mop. I just need a really good mop. This might work well for others but I didnt like it. Gonna try to sell it.

Like some of the others who wrote reviews, I have some physical limitations that make mopping a very painful experience. This appliance not only saved my back and legs, but decreased the time it took to clean my vinyl floor by at least 70% !! I've only used it once, but with it being so easy I know I'm going to be using it regularly. My only wish would be to have an attachment that would allow me to wax the floor with it as well. Thank you, Bissell, for making this difficult chore so much easier and less painful!

When I find the pets, kids, husband and weather have all trashed my floors, I love pulling out my CROSSWAVE vacum cleaner and multisurface scrubber and the floors sparkle in no time. One of my favorite aspects of using this machine is that the instructions are so intuitive. I don't have to look for the instruction book every time. There are arrows, and other instructions that make it very easy to put together and take apart for cleaning.

Great for scrubbing floors that end up cleaner than I ever thought I could get a floor. Easier than mopping and at over age of 70 that is important to me as someone with arthrities and back problems as well as knees. In addition our pipes recently froze and when they thawed water was all over the kitchen. Great way to get rid of all the water and in a very short time. Wonderful product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited about using this product. However, I was really disappointed in its ability to actually clean or deep clean. To use in between my deep cleanings and for small purposes it's great but I still have to do deep cleaning in between cuz it does not clean efficiently. I was really hopeful and expected the product to clean as it says it did better than what it actually does. Again for a small in between cleanings it works great but I will not give up my regular mopping for this product.

The Crosswave is simple to use and store. We have a lot of hard surface floors from laminate , tile, and floating vinyl as well as area rugs . The Crosswave system moves from one to the other flawlessly with just a quick change of the roller brush when needed. We have been looking for something to clean our hard surface floors and are very happy with our choice of the crosswave system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have hardwood, vinyl, and ceramic floors. I also have a couple of area rugs. This product will simultaneously vacuum and mop them all and do a decent job. But don't expect it to get next to walls. There is at least a 2-inch gap between the cleaning surface and the wall. Also, if you want to mop under chairs, forget it. This product will not lean down far enough. Chairs will have to be moved. The turning radius leaves much to be desired as well. While this product works well for most of my house, there is still upgrades that could be done to make it more desirable. A more flexible, yet tough hose could be engineered in the neck where this product turns and leans down. I also had a very hard time seeing how much formula was being spread on the floor. There needs to be some kind of lighting on the machine to make it visible. Also, what can be done to make the product clean closer to the wall? Anything? After I was done, my back hurt really bad. Granted, just about any mopping, vacuuming, or sweeping ends up hurting my back, but this machine seemed to make me use my back much more, thus making it hurt worse. I do not recommend this product for anyone dealing with chronic low back pain. Nor do I recommend it for those who want cleaning up to their walls. But, if you are one of those people who want to combine vacuuming and mopping, thus hopefully take less time doing housework, this product may be for you.

I was happy with the idea of this product because it cuts one step from my cleaning. What I usually do is pass a shop-vac vacuum first then I would mop. So, when I saw this ad for the CrossWave I thought, great, I want one. I bought it and used it but I realize that it was not cleaning to my standers. It is hard to get around the edges and it leaves at least a 1/2 to an inch from the wall unclean. With my shop-vac vacuum I am able to change adapters or remove it, pick up dust and dirt from all corners and with the mop I get to clean those areas. The CrossWave is a great idea but to me it needs some adjustments to be a good cleaner. Unfortunately I had to return my CrossWave and continue with my original cleaning way until I find a unit that would clean better then what I am doing. :(
