I'm disabled with limited mobility in my back and my legs so I was looking for something to use on my hardwood floors and area rugs that would allow me to clean and maintain my home without having to rely on someone else to do it for me. This machine is not it, the cleaning solution leaves a soapy residue on the floors and the cleaning of the machine is extremely hard for me. The dirt and hair from my floor turns into a muddy cement in the machine and the collection tank so the whole bottom half must be taken apart and scraped out every time it's used.

lost my house in hurricane Harvey. replaced floors with wood grain tile. used for the first time last night. outstanding performance. nice to wet/dry vac at the same time. cleanest floors have ever been. sooooo, having said that, a LOT of moving parts, easy breakdown, easy put together. durability MAY be an issue. 2500 sq. feet to clean. time will tell if product is able to sustain quality as seen on first time use. happy so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very disappointed when after a year or so the crosswave just stopped working. I am a fan of BISSELL, I can understand how it could just stop getting power. Just stopped. Not sure I will buy another.

I fell in love last night. Let me tell you about my busy home. 6 kids of all ages, 3 senior dogs, and two young cats. That's 36 dirty feet, including the Mr. and myself. That's 5 different kinds of animal hair. That's "whoops, an accident" from a dog(s) that just can't hold it like it use to and perhaps a beginner potty trainer running around stark naked. That's "Someone spilled... again." That's a curious cat(s) knocking something off the counter. That's the kids who are trying to be independent and spill the milk while trying to pour by themselves. That's a dog who can't drink without making a pond. That's "experiments" gone wrong, and a tea party that gets wild. And while it is a whole lot of love, it is definitely a whole lot of work and even more cleaning. And so, after seeing multiple ads for the Bissell Crosswave, I gave in and purchased one. When it arrived yesterday I put it straight to work. Oh my goodness you guys! Holy amazing! My life just got that much easier and my floors are outstanding. Like, white sock approval outstanding. Probably the best purchase of my life. 5 stars Bissell!!

I have used this machine only once and I like it. EXCEPT, that the roller does not go close to the of the wall. So when you use the roller to mop your floor, it does not go to the edge of the wall. So it leaves an inch of dirty or dusty floor which means that I get my manual mop, and get the cleaner, spray and mop the edges of the floor manually. Double the effort. I just don't like it and I think the manufacturer or the designer should make the roller able to mop the edges of the floor which meets the wall, too.

I have 8 cats and 2 rabbits and kids. Cat hair wood shaving bunny pellets cat puke and more I have a big house and all tile. I have to micro fiber the floors first vacuume and then mop rinse repeat. Its an all day chore to clean my house and the next day I can't tell that I cleaned . I love this vacuume. I don't have to keep switching tools . The only two drawbacks I notice are that on dried on spots or spots that had to be scrubbed it didn't work well and it won't get close to edges. I still need my swiffer for edging. But it still cuts my cleaning time in half.

We purchased this mainly for tile floors and it is perfect for that application. My wife was using a Swifter wet mop on the floors prior to the Crosswave and in my opinion you are just spreading the dirt around once the pad starts to get dirty. I saw the Crosswave on a television add and convinced her to let me order one. I used the Crosswave on the floor that she had just done with the swifter and neither of us could believe how dirty the water was in the Crosswave's tank. We live in a Florida community and most houses here have tile floors. After showing neighbors the Crosswave, several others have ordered one. It is now my job to do the tile floors, but I don't mind at all as it's kind of fun to use the machine.

I purchased this because my wife doesn't like using a mop and bucket, and I do not blame her. We have tile floors and this has made it a snap to clean. We also use it to clean little doggy accidents. I cannot believe I waited so long to purchase this. It has made our lives so much more enjoyable.

I have a dog and 2 kids. I'm always cleaning my hardwood floors. I never felt like they were clean enough, so I started looking into what was on the market for a better clean. I found the crosswave, read some reviews and decided it was worth a try. I got it as a Christmas present from my parents. I have never been more in love with a present. The crosswave is by far the easiest, thorough cleaning I have ever experienced. I will never use a mop, swiffer, etc, again! I use this bad girl to quickly clean spills and other oopsies that happen regularly in my house. Once every 2 weeks I do a whole house cleaning to get the heavy traffic build up off of my floors. Cleaning my floors has never been so easy and fun!!!

The crosswave has simplified the daily maintenance of my floors. Sweeping and mopping in one step shortens the time it takes to do the job. It also makes quick work of keeping high traffic areas like entryways and pet areas spot-cleaned. Definitely better than a mop and bucket or a spray mop! Using and maintaining the machine is easy. It is lightweight and I like the way it comes apart to clean it. I like that you can get replacement parts for it like rollers and filter if necessary. In my experience so far, I believe Bissell will stand behind their product with good customer service, an important factor in business today! Thank you.
