This item is not what I was expecting from the reviews that I read, before making my buying decision. the hair and dirt got caught up in the ball of the neck where its made to be able to move around items. so it ended up not working at all for us. I was very disappointed with this item .

i noticed when our cleaning lady used on our hardwood floors there was a lot of water left behind, not good, I'm concerned about damage. I proceeded to use myself and seemed to take forever to clean the floors and remove the water, my back ached by the time I was finished. I have better luck with the heavy duty swifter dusters and wet pads along with a spray bottle of cleaner, much easier and faster.

I was surprised at how well it cleaned my tile floors. The only draw back to these type of machines is the clean up. It really wasn't too bad but warning, the only one with a strainer basket built in is the pet version. The first time I dumped it into my sink I was flabbergasted. The 2nd time I used an old food strainer to pour the dirty water through to keep the big stuff out of my drain pipes. The fact that the whole idea is to not have to vacuum before washing, should have told bissell that there will be a lot of gunk that shouldn't go down your drain. Thus 4 instead of 5 stars. I haven't used it on my hardwood floor yet but expect good results.

I have always got down on my knees to wash my floors because I hate the feeling of dirt on the bottom of my feet but ever since I bought the cross wave I haven't had to get on my knees and the floor are just as clean as though I had thank you bissell for coming up with this product it is saving my knees and my back . I have only had it for a month so I will write another review after I have had it for at least 6 months or so. For those users that complain about the sides not sucking up much just try using the swivel and try using the front against those walls and baseboards.

I should be a poster woman for this machine. I have 11 cats and 4 large dogs. I live on a farm that some days seems like our best crop is mud. I have used my machine for a few weeks and love all the machine offers. The only improvement I can see is a way to get the edges but I'm still not complaining because it cleans so well and easily. I encourage everyone to own this machine!

It took me hours to dust mop, vacuum, and damp mop my townhome. I do these chores 2-3 times a week, now that I have a dog, and it was an several hour job. Now, it takes me an hour to get it all done. I'm also amazed, after doing the above for several months, how filthy the return water was the first few times I used it.

Could never really get my kitchen tile floor really clean - always had spots here and there. This machine is FANTASTIC and being able to mop and dry at the same time is a wonderful feature; plus it's lightweight. Love this machine and I'm recommending it to everyone i know.

Nothing to say but awesome!! I didn't t think it was working very well until I looked at the waste container and I was shocked. I used it on old stains on my carpet and they all came out. I am so impressed with this cleaner I had to write my first review. Try it you will love it. I also have the vac and steam (which completely quit working and its too expensive to fix) but this works much better, wish I had started with this one.

I got this product for myself for Christmas with high hopes after seeing so many positive reviews. I have never been more disappointed and angered about a product. I will never buy Bissell ever again. I assembled it exactly as directed, filled the water to the indicated line, and then added Bissell floor cleaner to its indicated line. As soon as I clicked it on, it let out a high-pitched, continuous squeal that was so bad I grabbed my noise canceling headphones to wear while using it and it still cut through. It's about as loud as a contracting wet-dry vac but much more high-pitched. I had to go over a section 3-4 times with just the vacuum to collect what was a minimal amount of dust & pet hair. Afterwards came the worst part - the "mop" itself. The solution came out in uneven streaks the entire time I tried to mop and didn't clean the floors at all. In fact, my laminate floors are now covered in a weird sticky film - like dried juice. Disgusting. If there's a dirty spot on your floor you want to clean quickly with this machine, forget it. I ran it slowly over a spot in my kitchen no less than 5 times. It would not clean it at all. I got so frustrated that I just grabbed a wet rag and wiped it up in seconds. It took me 45 minutes to ATTEMPT to clean a single hallway and it left it dirtier than it was before. I'm currently getting ready to try and scrub by hand whatever this piece of junk sprayed all over. Do not waste your money. Trust me.

Best money ever spent! I cleaned all my clean wood floors and my stone floor in bathroom and they were “filthy” by comparison of what I had just used to clean them. The. To ight I took it to our rarely used guest bathroom thatI had just cleaned in preparation of my childrens’ visit. My linoleum is 18 years old and in perdect condition. Welllll....this is what it looks like now. Pure white like it was before the Bissell Crosswave! Don’t hesitate to purchase this amazing machine!
