I have had four Bissell machines over the years. I moved about a year ago into a small house. The floors are some sort of pressed, wood laminate; not my first choice. The Symphony steam-vac I brought with me, which I love, was too strong for this floor. This new Crosswave is the answer to my cleaning needs. It cleans my hard floors and my area rugs flawlessly. I am in love, yet again, with a Bissell product. I am a 'neat-freak' and have to have clean floors. I highly recommend this latest addition to anyone out there who wants a Bissell, clean home.

I bought the Crosswave. I have tile and wood floors and a dog that slobbers. Cleaning had required me to get on my hands and knees. With the Crossway it easily cleans the slobbered spots and is easy to use. The only negative is that it is very noisy. I love this machine and would buy it again. It exceeded all expectations.

Having 4 little fur babies in the house, keeping my laminate floors clean is a daily struggle. I'd have to first sweep the floors then get out the bucket and mop...which wasn't very sanitary and was hard on my back. I bought my Bissell Crosswave as a Christmas gift for myself after seeing it advertised on TV. Well, let me tell you...I absolutely LOVE it!!! I use it almost everyday! Not only does it vacuum and clean my floors beautifully, it's very light weight, swivels and dries my floors in minutes! I never thought I'd say this, but I actually enjoy cleaning my floors now! (It doesn't take a toll on my back anymore!) And it's also more sanitary than traditional mopping because you're not reusing the dirty bucket water!!! Oh, and I almost forgot one of the best features.... it also cleans my large area rugs beautifully by just switching to the rug button! I have never given reviews on any products before, but I just HAD to with this product because it is THAT good!!!! The only complaint I have is, WHERE HAS IT BEEN ALL MY LIFE???!!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend the Bissell Crosswave and truly believe it is one of the best inventions out there!!! If you're on the fence whether or not to buy it, BUY IT!!! I promise you will not regret it!

As someone with a severe back injury but also 1,800 + s.f. of very difficult to clean slate floors, this little gem is long overdue in my household. I simply cannot describe the difference of ease of use. Additionally, the floors I had just recently mopped were still so dirty that the water returned to the Crosswave cleaner was not simply dirty, it was like black sludge. For the first time in years I can actually see the vibrant colors in my slate floors, and with no more energy than I would use with my Bissel pet hair vacuum cleaner. To say this little machine is amazing and a tremendous time and pain-saving device would be an understatement of epic proportions! My only recommendation is for Bissel to place a different type of material on the undercarriage as, for someone with hard-uneven floors like mine, the hard plastic gets chipped off in very short order. For now I keep a piece of duct tape across that section to minimize the damage but will actually call Bissel and see if I can't help them improve the design in this area. It's tremendously valuable and important for people with floors like mine.

I live in a forty-plus year old cabin with original wood flooring. I have never been able to get into all the little cracks and crevices with a regular mop. And as I am now in my fifties, and have two inside pets, achieving a deep down clean with sweeping and mopping has become more difficult. The Crosswave is the answer to that. My floors look new again, and they have never been cleaner! Thank you, Bissell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 1st time I used this machine, I was in love!! It had my hardwood floors looking and feeling so clean! Also did wonders on the grout lines on my kitchen tile! I thought, "I'VE FINALLY FOUND THAT ONE" then, the next day, after washing all the parts and starting out with a newly cleaned machine, that's when I started thinking "maybe it was a good thing I saved the box".... no matter what I do, I just can't stop the streaking the roller heads leave on my floors! I've tried everything but nothing has worked. I still grab it to vacuum up a small mess but I honestly don't feel that it's worth the money I paid for it. My Shark Steam Mop (being 4+ years old) has never left streak marks on any of my floors!

I definately debated buying this but reading the reviews, I thought I would give it a try. This is the best thing ever. No more filling up buckets and cleaning mops. One step and your done. Easy to use and couldn't believe how much dirt it picked up off my floors even after vacuuming. I would Ihighly recommend this product.

I purchased the Bissell Crosswave, I could not believe how much dirt, and pet hair was in my house. I always used a broom and mop everyday. I think I was just moving the dirt around. I love the cleaner, I have told as many people as I could about the Crosswave. I would definitely purchase it again. I love it. Thank you Donna Helms

I was very pleasantly surprised at how well and quickly the Bissell Cross Wave worked. I recently had a carpet professionally cleaned and quite honestly, the Bissell did as good a job. I have Old English Sheepdogs, and the Bissell Cross Wave cleans up after them in a wonderfully effective manner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tile floors in bathrooms and kitchen, laminate floors and area rugs. Vacuum rugs first but don't pre vacuum floors as I used to so this machine saves me one step. I have lots of dog hair and it picks it up along with whatever stuff is on kitchen floor and laminate areas. Leaves all surfaces clean and shining especially laminate, no streaking at all. I do use the Bissell cleaner but it takes very little to clean a large surface. When I dump the dirty water container it amazes me how much dirt and hair it picks up even when the floors looked clean when I started. Have already recommended this to a friend of mine who has her own house cleaning business and both my daughters. I did not buy the more expensive "pet pro" model as I just have the one dog and that model was a bit too pricy for me but this one works just fine.
