I purchased this mattress in January of 2018. It is now November of 2018 and it already has deep impressions where we sleep. It has developed pressure points in the impressions and causes us back pain after a night of sleep, the points specifically at the hips is what causes most of our back pain. I will be looking to return this mattress if I can.

The bed is way too hard, but I was giving up a plush pillow top Sterns & Foster mattress that was $3000. There's just no comparison. My neck hurts now every morning when I wake up. The bed had already started to break down and sag in the middle within a week. Return started. Will be selecting something else softer!

I purchased this mattress 10/2016 after reading the early reviews. It was delivered and setup on 10/21/16. I'm a long time athlete and woodsman with back and shoulder issues so I felt this was my best choice for my needs to get restful sleep. The mattress is comfortable but I immediately noticed indentations in the mattress that remain and now seem permanent. I feel I get stuck in a hole and difficult to turn at night. The side foam and head end of the mattress had moved out about an inch. The side foam can be seen in the construction pictures on many Serta mattresses. This mattress may be good for someone lighter than I am. I plan to contact the customer service line about a replacement.

A really great set

Had really hoped this was going to be a good mattress but it was not! The first three months sleeping on it were great! But we had it less than 6 months and it was already breaking down. We weigh between 170 & 200lbs. So not the lightest but not the heaviest either. Less than a year later, we had to replace it...

I was actually really upset at the quality of these beds. It took less than three months for the very end of the bed to break. I don't even know how to describe how it broke but it basically sunk in like there were no springs you would fall into it and off the bed because there's no support. It's the spot where you climb in and out of bed. I just decided to deal with it because what could I do? I spent over 1k in money I had to make use of it. I bought protective covers from the SERTA brand! WATERPROOF they say. Not only would these not protect against ANY water but they don't against body sweat either. Have you ever seen a mattress that soaks up sweat ? turns to mildew and I live in a humid area and summer is brutal took the mattress all of six months to be stained from human sweat and mildew scented. You would swear I spent 100 bucks on these beds because that was the quality I received This was my first big brand purchase bed I really wanted them to be great I went all out for them with the sheet covers and making sure they would stay in prime condition and it all went down the toilet. Then I had to play tag with emails and phone calls with sams club before I was finally sent over to a serta team member and just to get my refund I have to drag these things outside and sleep on the floor until I get my refund to go elsewhere. And you know how long a refund takes they are going to take their sweet time refunding me and I'll be the one to suffer. I live pay to pay so I don't have money to just blow on big cash items. I have to save up for these things.

Although the mattress set is comfortable and I intentionally purchased the thick/deep set, I am extremely disappointed in how tall it is. I purchased this for my son who switched from a toddler bed to a full size bed...the top of the mattress is above my waist!!! So obviously he has difficulty getting up on the bed. I am 5'3” but even my King Size bed is only to my thigh. I wish I would have purchased the regular depth. I hate shopping online and I take responsibility for not knowing how tall the measurements would have made the bed, but they didn't offer this one in store. I won't be purchasing mattresses online ever again.

The Castleview Pillowtop is a high-quality bed set. The pillowtop is very firm. I think Serta needs to include this in the description and change the comfort rating to 1 to 2. Unfortunately, the mattress is far to firm for me. I have arranged the return and am getting the Serta Torrington. Both the Serta rep and the Sam's rep arranging the return were understanding and helpful. If you need a firm mattress, this is the one to choose.

I purchased this Serta Castle view and two other Serta Bed last December 2016, I have already returned two and I am in the process of returning this one. It had created sinkholes in the middle of the bed. Poor quality, I threw my 20 year old bed but I thinks it's still better than this new Serta beds.

We have had this mattress for a little over two years and while we have not had issues with the edges sagging the sagging after only a few months was terrible. My husband wants to cuddle and it's like rolling up hill. lol I tried to stick with it but I wake up every morning with an achy back and neck. So disappointed. I'll be taking advantage of the warranty period and hoping for better luck with the next one. Thankful for the warranty.
