My brother is a tech guy and always had Sony TV sets and I was very surprised to see a Samsung TV had taken the place of his former favorite brand. His Samsung really impressed me with the better quality and when asked he explained that Samsung flat screens had totally surpassed his old favorite brand by leaps and bounds. Higher quality in picture, sound, resolution and connectivity to the internet. He convinced me after his professional explanation, along with viewing his Samsung LED tv, to make Samsung my next TV purchase. I am so much more impressed with my Samsung over my Sony Bravia TV that I now have 3 Samsung LED televisions in my home. I sold the Bravia cheap to a gentleman looking for an inexpensive monitor. I am now COMPLETELY a loyal Samsung customer. The BEST television on the market and priced for regular working class heroes, like me.

I love that it is so smooth when transitioning from one app to another. I’ve never had a single problem with it and I’ve had it for over a year now. The contrast is really good too. It has a user friendly remote, the picture is always clear with great resolution and brightness. I enjoy the smart TV for streaming movies, I can also use it for internet when necessary. It is a U55U8000F TV. This is my 3rd Samsung TV. I would not buy any other brand. Thank you.

Image resolution is perfect, everything looks sharp and the picture has awesome vibrancy and pop to the colors. Brightness is solid even with the lights on. Plus the tizen interface is simple enough for the kids to use without complaining. Great buy."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No matter what settings we try, in dark scenes in movies you can't see well at all. Gamma is turned all the way up etc. Also, after a recent software update now when I turn on the TV it goes to the last station and starts to play, and then it freezes. To get it to work I have to go out of the menu and back in to get the channel I'm trying to watch to work. This is a very new TV and I've had several Sumsung TVs before, this is the only one with these problems. Otherwise it's a good TV, I really like Samsung TV overall.
