I have used this brand since the early 50s as it was the ONLY brand my Dad would use for his bread making. So I continued to use it in my home, although I have branched out to Gold Metal Bread Flour also. My first shipment wasn't packed properly and split, but was replaced immediately.

I don’t normally do these reviews because normally everything has been good but, as you can see, three stars were given. The reason was that my order, the flour and sugar were delivered in an open box and left by the door in the rain. NOT a good thing because both come in paper bags and were wet. No doorbell was rung. However, I did notice they were there before too long. I had to remove them from their original paper bags and find something else for storage. If the original box had some type of top closure or in a large plastic bag, things would have been different.

The bag of flour was broken and had been placed in a large ziplock bag. I have to think someone who packed it put the broken flour with flour spilling out into the ziplock bag as there was no sign of loose flour in the box that contained my order. I would not have expected to have received an opened bag of flour. Disappointed.

Perfect size for a great product! Gold Medal All Purpose Flour is the gold standard by which all others are compared. As one would expect, Sam's Club delivers at a great price point. The 12 lb. size is perfect for our use as it fits in our storage system very nicely.

With transportation expenses climbing faster than Social Security C.O.L.A., we are very appreciative that we can get quality, national brand bulk size pantry staples delivered to our front door from our Wichita Sam's Club an hour and a half from home.

It's a lot of flour and great to use if you are baking at home. The quantity was great! My only negative star is that I ordered it via shipping and my first packaged came opened and once I opened the box, flour dropped everywhere! Little did I know that chickens would love raw flour as we swept the flour outside. Otherwise, the quality and quantity of this product is great. Happy baking!

The bag of flour was in a large ziplock bag, it looked like someone dropped it and split the bag also the bottom of the bag looked as it had been dropped on a corner of something, flour was loose in the plastic ziplock bag. I have no idea what happened to it so I haven’t and won’t use it. I have tried to contact management to get it replaced I was on hold for for almost 30 minutes and I also sent a message to Sam’s through the comment section of the Sam’S app after I received the package. The box it was sent in was not damaged in any way not so much as a scratch on the box.

I ordered two packages of this flour. I didn’t really want to order it online, but I could not find flour anywhere local. The box arrived packed with two bags of flour and two packages of yeast. The box seemed to be packaged well, but one of the bags of four was busted down the side. Obviously that’s a risk with buying flour online. Giving it 4 stars because while the box was packed well, I could not get ahold of customer service to let them know I had a damaged order. I tried two different days, waiting on hold for +40mins, so I gave up.

Great value for the price.

Great dependable product. Love to use it for baking.
