These are my favorite granola bars to keep around for a snack when I need a quick pick-me-up. I always keep a box in the car (they won't get hurt in the car's temps) so if I'm running around town & I get hungry & can eat one of these instead of fast food! These have just enough sweetness to satisfy my sweet tooth, & just enough crunch to satisfy my chip craving.

Nature Valley Oats n Honey are the ideal snack to grab and go for work. Tasty, crunchy and just enough grains and peanut butter to satisfy mid-morning or afternoon cravings! Find in package of 12 or larger. Grab some and keep them handy, you'll live them!

These are not the same granola bar I use to give my kids in the 80s. Back then you could see the individual oats and they were crunchier. Now they look like a baked paste and they crumble easily. I've no idea when the formula changed but it was not a improvement. I'm sure it was all about profit unfortunately. It's too bad.

I always have them at home so when my grandkids visit it’s a healthy snack they all like . I would recommend them. My only complaint would be packaging when you open it it’s hard to get one out with out making a mess

I’ve always bought these bars and had them as a staple in my home since my childhood and I am so disappointed that they’ve changed the taste and texture and also the packaging is tougher to open. I just don’t understand why they would change recipe to what was America’s favorite granola bar. No longer crunchy sweetness, now they just taste stale as if they’ve gone bad. At first I thought we bought a bad batch and even made sure it wasn’t because they were expired … then after a few purchases we realized it’s definitely changed for the worst. My family will no longer buy any more Nature Valley granola bars.

If your looking for a quick, light snack, don't look any further. A great source of fiber, for when your on the go. Also a big hit with the kids, my son loves them. Your new late night snack...

I just purchase a 12-pack box and didn't look at the ingredient list as I have been buying these bars for twenty years. Lo and behold upon reading the ingredient list I found that they now contain "Bioengineered Food Ingredients" never expected to see those words. The only reason I can think of for using "Bioengineered Food Ingredients" is monetary on General Mill's part. Hmm... Not doing this again! I would have added photos but this form wouldn't let me download them. Hmm...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy these for my husband. He's a very specific eater and tends to go for staples on a daily basis. Nature Valley bars are one of his go-tos. Fast and convenient. He also likes the simplicity of the bar.

I have purchased these bars regularly for years now, but I simply won't anymore. I see where others have had the same complaint and while I don't know for sure -- but I do know by taste -- that the recipe was changed and they simply aren't worth buying. Not only is the taste dramatically worse, it also leaves a powdery residue in your mouth. Let me know when you switch back to the better/original recipe!
