whatever y’all did to the recipe it has made everything taste like soap now. For the love of God change it back. I was hoping it was just a one off situation with the box that I got, but I tried one from a box that a friend purchased and the same soap taste is there. I won’t be buying them anymore and I’ve been a customer for so many years and used to stock them in my offices as well since I’m in charge of our snacks And now I won’t.

I like this protein bar for a quick snack for the kiddos and myself. This is my kids second favorite go to “ protein bar-snack.” You can’t beat the price! It has a nice taste. I gave it only 4 stars, because it’s not my favorite snack bar. That is my opinion.

If you prefer protein bars which aren’t overly sweet, these are good. However the texture is chalky and dry. On the plus side these bars don’t taste like candy bars, which is good if you’re trying to reduce sweets. Definitely less sugary-tasting than other brands.

So, I ate these for decades. LOVED them, a great compliment with or without lunch, and just the right amount of fiber. I don't know what happened, but earlier this year I thought I had a bad batch, then second box a different flavor also tasted bad. I waited a few months and yup.. same thing. I became allergic to something in them and I'm not sure what. I stay away from gluten so that's why I loved these, and I am fine with tree nuts so i don't know!

These tasty snacks are delicious!! They aren’t considered protein bars though. They have a fair amount of protein but not the most I can buy elsewhere. They have carbs as well but not an extreme amount. It’s a better snack to eat versus nutrigrain bar with lots of sugar.

Disgusting, Dry, Tasteless I regularly buy Nature Valley products but my regular choice was out of stock so I tried the Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate Protein bars. Didn't taste like chocolate, didn't taste like peanut butter, was dry and awful. I tried to give it chance so I ate 1 and 1/2 bars - couldn't finish. Very disappointed with GM

I bought these because I’ve had to the other flavored protein bars by Nature Valley and this flavor didn’t disappoint either! A variety pack with these would be nice, but this is still a must have in my pantry until that’s available. Great on the go source of protein

Bought these for the first time when on sale a couple years back. So much more filling/satisfying than a normal Granola bar due to added protein. Favorite for both my husband when he's on the go as well as a semi-sweet snack for my 3 year old. We love it! Even I (baked goods snob) will eat for a quick breakfast once in awhile.

We have been eating these protein bars for years. My wife likes them because they are not super sweet; the dark chocolate keeps the sweetness down for sure. My wife does not eat milk chocolate at all due to the sweetness. There are times when we are at craft shows where this bar helps keep us from being hungry when we can't leave our booth, so we recommend this bar.
