Normally a quick breakfast snack and during the day. Usually tastes great. This box was returned because it had a strange taste and caused a tummy issue when eaten.

After purchasing and opening, I then noticed that the expiration date was only a week away. There was no way that we were going to eat these before then.

I enjoy the flavor of these bars. But the amount of gas they produce in your gut is intolerable. If you want all day bloating, these are for you. I will not be buying again.

The last two boxes of the protein bars have not been as good as the ones I have had in the past. I have been eating them for years and these just seem like the recipe has changed or maybe I’m just getting the last scrapings of the batch.

I purchase these regularly. Unfortunately, I just returned home from picking up a curbside order today (04/25/2026), and noticed the Best if Used By date is already past. It's showing 14MAR2026. (See photo.) Ridiculous to have expired product for sale.

I’ve been eating Nature Valley Peanut Butter / Dark Chocolate Protein Bars for over six years. I have one for breakfast almost every day and as an occasional snack. I started eating them when I was diagnosed with diabetes. They have the high protein and low carb content my diet requires, and have helped me to maintain healthy blood sugar levels. Best of all, they taste good! After all this time I haven’t tired of them. Thank you Nature Valley for making a food product that is both healthy for me and tasty!

These protein bars are great. My wife eats one with peanut butter almost every morning for breakfast. If I'm a little hungry, they are my go to snack before I work out. We take them with us whenever we go on a road trip. When we're traveling, they usually serve as one meal replacement - either breakfast or lunch.

always purchase in store when i can and online when i can't. my recent order online came completely melted and disgusting. tried to refrigerate to save but the texture and taste changed. they usually ship stuff like this with ice packs and have stopped doing that. may have to stop ordering due to that. which is unfortunate because the store is a bit far from me and i can't always make it there.

We have been eating these protein bars for years. My wife likes them because they are not super sweet; the dark chocolate keeps the sweetness down for sure. My wife does not eat milk chocolate at all due to the sweetness. There are times when we are at craft shows where this bar helps keep us from being hungry when we can't leave our booth, so we recommend this bar.
