Absolutely the best protein bar I have ever eaten. It’s very good/filling. It does have 7grams of sugar but has 6grams of fiber. Love the taste. No chalky after taste like a lot of those protein bars have. Great for breakfast/snack or quick grab and go.

Ee been buying bars for more than 20 years our family prefers the sweet and salty ones with peanut butter. But since Sam’s doesn’t carry them anymore, we started to get this kind, they are good as well but not as good as the other kind. But we know we are getting protein, so that is good.

Disgusting, Dry, Tasteless I regularly buy Nature Valley products but my regular choice was out of stock so I tried the Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate Protein bars. Didn't taste like chocolate, didn't taste like peanut butter, was dry and awful. I tried to give it chance so I ate 1 and 1/2 bars - couldn't finish. Very disappointed with GM

Bought these for the first time when on sale a couple years back. So much more filling/satisfying than a normal Granola bar due to added protein. Favorite for both my husband when he's on the go as well as a semi-sweet snack for my 3 year old. We love it! Even I (baked goods snob) will eat for a quick breakfast once in awhile.

So, I ate these for decades. LOVED them, a great compliment with or without lunch, and just the right amount of fiber. I don't know what happened, but earlier this year I thought I had a bad batch, then second box a different flavor also tasted bad. I waited a few months and yup.. same thing. I became allergic to something in them and I'm not sure what. I stay away from gluten so that's why I loved these, and I am fine with tree nuts so i don't know!

All of Nature Valley Protein bars taste terrible now, not just these but also the salted caramel nut/variety packs. I have been purchasing these for years but not anymore! The last three boxes have had a soapy aftertaste, which I assume is rancid ingredients. For the money and the "name" this shouldn't be an issue whatsoever.

I bought these because I’ve had to the other flavored protein bars by Nature Valley and this flavor didn’t disappoint either! A variety pack with these would be nice, but this is still a must have in my pantry until that’s available. Great on the go source of protein

If you prefer protein bars which aren’t overly sweet, these are good. However the texture is chalky and dry. On the plus side these bars don’t taste like candy bars, which is good if you’re trying to reduce sweets. Definitely less sugary-tasting than other brands.

These tasty snacks are delicious!! They aren’t considered protein bars though. They have a fair amount of protein but not the most I can buy elsewhere. They have carbs as well but not an extreme amount. It’s a better snack to eat versus nutrigrain bar with lots of sugar.

These protein bars are great. My wife eats one with peanut butter almost every morning for breakfast. If I'm a little hungry, they are my go to snack before I work out. We take them with us whenever we go on a road trip. When we're traveling, they usually serve as one meal replacement - either breakfast or lunch.
