I love Betty Crocker's cookie mixes! The sugar cookie recipe is just as good, if not better than homemade sugar cookies!! You can make them into drop cookies or cut out cookies! And the best part, besides tasting absolutely delicious, they only take like eight minutes! And they are the best when they come out of the oven all hot and chewy and amazing!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product frequently to make sugar cookie cut-outs. The cookies always bake perfectly and therefore reduces the prep time so I can start decorating each cookie according to what holiday is approaching.

We have been buying the SugAr Cookie mix for years and always had many compliments but we tried to make them yesterday and there is definitely something wrong with the mix. It was very dry and would not form cookie dough. My daughter also tried making them with her children and same result. Please get this resolved as they were the best sugar cookies!

This mix is so good !! Cookies aren't too sweet and they taste delicious! Perfect to make with the family when kids want to be creative and decorate them! It met my expectations and depending where you buy them , it's priced anywhere from good to expensive

I read the reviews after one bag was a total flop… so, thought I had this figured out to attempt a second bag. Added 1/2 cup flour and two eggs, mixed then added an additional 1/2 cup flour without any change. What in the world do I do for the third bag? We are celebrating Christmas late this year due to weather…. But the annual Christmas cookie decorating part of our family get together will be ruined if I can not get this third bag to work…. Please help me with advice……

Like other years before I bought this mix and never have i ever had an experince like tonight follower instructions for cut out cookies to do with my kids and was so dry and crumbly so we decided ok we will try the other bag and same issue!!!! Out of two 17.5oz bags we were able to get 6 cookies!!!!! Has the recipe changed now im stuck with 8 more packages of the sugar cookies that I will not use again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The taste of the sugar cookies is excellent, I will say that I am not an expert at rolling them out and making them all the same thickness. However this is more about me than about the product itself

These were good. I was pleasantly surprised for a mix. I think people who gave negative reviews could be messing up the butter. Here’s what I did - I made the cut out ones. Mixed the dough per the instructions, with real butter that was not fully melted. It was softened then microwaved for about 20 seconds. This made it super soft but not fully melted. Just a little bit of fully melted butter. Then the dough was still really crumbly so I added about a teaspoon or 2 of I Can’t Believe Its Not Butter (I am sure more softened butter would have been ok too, the spread was just handy and already soft), and a teeny bit of water - about a teaspoon. This helped with the dough consistency. Then I did cut outs. I make them a little thick because I like a softer cookie.  Now my oven is wonky so the temp may have been off, but at 375 (and it did feel hot like 375!) I always under bake cookies, again so they are soft, but 4 minutes was not enough. Ended up at close to 7 minutes. The second batch was the same and they got a bit more browned on the bottom. That’s it. And they taste really good.
