Planting herbs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm trying my hand out at planting herbs in a raised bed and I was excited to see that "Back To Roots" made a raised bed blend and that it's natural, organic and peat free. I live in a warm and humid area and care for plants years round but this is my first raised bed and I'm really enjoying it. The blend is rich and fertilized with earth casting and powered with "root boosting" mycorrhizae already in the soil so no extra mix-in's are needed. It's very easy to work and one bag contains 25.7 quarts to start your own garden of herbs, fruit veggies and flowers. It's easy to work with and I can't wait to reap the benefits of my little herb garden.

Too early

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was just a small bag of potting mix but it was regular sized potting mix. It may be too early to say if this worked for us but so far it seems just like any other potting mix. I'll find out more after the plants have grown.

Good Soil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got Back to the Roots-Better Raised Bed Mix and it's good soil! I was pleased with the consistency. I used it to plant my winter garden and think my plants will grow deep roots and flourish in this soil.

Looks like clean soil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added to my pepper plants and tomatillo plants. It's too early to rate the soul as far as the plant does, but the soil looked good I did not find any plastic or rocks which I have found in other soil like miracle grow. As far as the plants perform only time will tell.

Great blend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on my raised bed garden and it has really motivated me to continue planting. My veggies are doing so well and should be ready for harvest very soon. I love that it's not only natural, but also organic because it makes me feel like I'm doing the best thing for my family.

Rich soil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here in VA (planting zone 7b), it is time to get the garden prepped. Thank you to @influenster and @backtotheroots_official for sending this bag of raised-bed soil to get a good start. 🪴It is made in the USA and the soil is nice and rich. They also have a #getonegiveone program that helps school curriculum learn about gardening. How awesome is that! 🪴

Great soil for growing veggies, herbs, and fruits!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who’s been getting into gardening more recently, I’ve tried a lot of different soil mixes, but Back to The Roots Organic Raised Bed Mix has definitely become a go-to for me. First off, I love that it’s organic and peat-free – it feels good knowing I’m using something that’s not only good for my plants but also better for the environment. I recently learned that choosing a peat-free mix, you're helping reduce environmental damage and supporting more sustainable gardening practices! This soil is perfect for raised beds and any kind of above-ground planting. I’m using it for everything from herbs to veggie. You can even use it for fruits. It contains organic plant food, so plants grow bigger and stronger without needing extra fertilizers. Plus, it balances the pH, which is great because I don’t always have to worry about the acidity levels, especially with my more delicate plants. One of my favorite features is the Yucca Extract, which helps with moisture control. I’ve noticed my plants staying hydrated longer. During those hot summer days, that’s going to be game-changer. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this mix for anyone who’s serious about gardening or even just starting out like me. It's all about healthy plants, less fuss, and sustainability for our planet!

Good plant food = healthy plants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I planted a few previous houseplants with this mix since it was all I had… so far nothing has died and have been going strong for years! I’m excited to use it for my raised beds in my veggie garden. Use with gloves though, I got some splinters.
