I think the roots and my worms will be very happy with this mix. It's got nice moisture retention as well. I trust this company's products and feel at ease when my kids want to help me in the garden.

It will hold moisture well! I'll have to mix some other stuff in there so it doesn't get sogged in the FL summer showers. The smell is tolerable. I can't wait to see how my fruits & veggies produce!

But one star, maybe my bag was just a dud, but it was just basically molded cover sticks with a little soil. Nothing of seeds started at all of them love the company, but this one was a big time no.
