Power, and Ease for a beginner!!!

I bought this powerwasher a couple months ago. After the first 20 hours I just did my oil change last night and ran it some more. Im a professional detailer, this machine makes my life a lot easier. The engine is so simple, I can do all of the maintenance myself, even if something were to go wrong I KNOW HOW TO FIX IT.

Great pressure washer with quality components!

I got this a few weeks ago and have used it twice. So far, I am very impressed with the build quality and performance of this unit. I was looking to a pressure washer that would last me a long time - not a throw away unit that I would have to replace in a few years. Most units at the big box stores are throw away consumer products. Stepping up to this unit gets you both a commercial quality Honda engine and a CAT water pump. That's a great combo! It also came with quick release hose connections, which the cheaper units don't. I am very happy with it!

Well made and well packaged

Have only used the washer twice and it works well. Particularly impressed with the care taken in the packaging of the unit. It was clear that the transporting companies had shipped the unit upside down at some point since some oil had leaked out of the pump. However, due to the packaging, the unit did not suffer any ill effects.

Smooth MACHINE

After filling the fluids and only 2 pulls it started right up has all the pressure you need for the shop and home. I washed a engine on a John Deere tractor with years of grease and oil build up. It came clean with little effort . The wire mesh hose is awesome making it tangle free. The aluminum frame makes it lite and easy to manover

Small but mighty

I wanted a pressure washer that was powerful enough to do jobs but light enough I could easily lift it into the trunk of my Toyota Prius. I found it in this one! The first time I used it a couple nuts came off and bolts were loose. I was thankfully able to find them in the yard and tighten them up. I only use ethanol free fuel in it. I also upgraded to a longer hose.

Does what it is supposed to do

Overall it's a good pressure washer. Have approx 5 hrs on it. I did add an induction type hour meter for maintenance intervals. The Honda motor and CAT pump are great. Starts VERY easy with the nozzle removed and the trigger handle wedged open. Remember to crank down on the unloader to get the pressure you want. The frame, not so much. Tends to 'walk' when using. Within the 5 hrs, the 'feet' were worn down. I ended up pulling the feet off my 20+ year old pressure washer (that never wore out) and put them on the Simpson. Also used some Destaco type push/pull clamps to add brakes to the wheels so it won't move around. May end up adding some vibration isolators between the engine and frame like my old Craftsman pressure washer had. Used some 1.25" galv conduit and raised the handle up around 12". Added another hose hanger and a basket to put accessories. I'd buy it again at the price point.

Powerfull and easy to use

Seems quality. I have a couple of things 1. You have to depress the sprayer while trying to start. The pressue won't allow you to crank it. I had to use my foot to hold the washer from moving so I could get a good pull on it. 2. The oil came in a bag and was more than the capacity of the crankcase so I was a little confused. I triple checked to make sure it was full because I had left over oil. 3. The unit does move around a lot. 4. Upon initial starting it took forever for some reason. Was questioning Hondas engine. Side note: Technician told me the engine is made to run on full throttle so set it and leave it. The good The hose is thick and good quality (quick connect) Solid frame and wheels (actual pneumatic) After the initial starting, the engine now starts on first or second pull The various nozzles stay in place with the easy to use holders on top Large tank for fuel, sight glass for pump oil

Well Built & Designed Machine

I am a master ships captain and we don't do a lot of pressure washing but when we need a machine it has to work. We have had several washers and from experience we found a Cat Pump and a Honda engine are a great pair. The aluminum frame is very sturdy and a super addition around salt water.

This is my second SIMPSON Powerwasher. No the 1st one did NOT wear our >>> someone stole it. I was very pleased with the 1st unit so the second purchase was easy ... Simpson with Honda Engine. I would only recommend a Honda engine... powerful and easy start.

Great Choice after lots of Research & Reviews

Great choice. I have owned several pressure washers in the past and I am very familiar with many of the choices out there. Simpson really is the industry leader. After much research and reviews it was an easy choice. Honda motor, CAT pump. Pricy, but will give you great service and will last with proper maintenance. Other washers will work, but he pumps burn out or the engines develop problems. This is the real deal. The next decision is how much pressure & flow do you need. For residential use the 3400 psi & 2.5 gpm were plenty. I also wanted the aluminum chassis so that I could lift it into the back of the car by myself. The Dewalts get very heavy. This is only 74 lbs. Works great for home use (Boats, Cars, Driveway, Garage, Siding, Sidewalks). Add a turbo nozzle & floor cleaner. Good luck!
