I have purchased/exchanged several of these Iced Tea Makers. They all break within a month or two of use. Do not buy this. Get a nice kettle and be done with it.

I was excited for this tea maker but it arrived broken. The button doesn't turn it on. It looks like the button should light up as well but it doesn't do that either. The return process is such a hassle too and since I got it as a "deal", I won't be able to get another without paying more since I had this shipped because it isn't available at my local store.

We used a Mr. brand for years and had constant staining issues and smell. This capresso unit gets used about 3x a week at out house, 8 lipton black tea bag is the magic number for us and set on medium, we do use only distilled water as we do in our coffee maker. A breeze to clean and store. Thank You Capresso!

I like this tea maker way more than the Mr Coffee one. It easily makes good strong tea and the removable basket filter is a plus. The pitcher and lid clean up essily in the dishwasher. My only complaint is that it leaks down the side every time I use it and I have to keep a towel against it. No matter how I out on the tank. If it wasn't for that definitely be 5 stars

This iced tea maker has been great for making iced tea. Especially loose leaf teas. This morning though as it began to brew I heard a crack. Sure enough it started leaking and the bottom has a couple inches of cracks making it useless. 40 minutes on hold to take my phone and address to come back and say that’ll be $35.26. Heck no! Not for that extremely thin glass that will break again. So much for warranty. I didn’t bump it just the hot vs cold did it in. This is no Pyrex glass. I knew this was the weak point of this system and was always extremely careful and only used the pitcher for bread wing then transferred to plastic Takeya.

I've only used this for 1 month and the pitcher has a crack on the bottom. I wouldn't recommend buying it.

PASS ON THIS TEA MAKER! Works fine and the parts cleans easy. However the glass pitcher is so thin and brittle, ice. Yes just ice coming out of the fridge’s ice maker broke the bottom of it. Hands down a scam to get people to replace it. Buy another model.
