Cooler is very sturdy and love the storage. It's a great size between too bulky and not enough room. Very disappointed in cold and ice retention. I have had this cooler about 2 weeks and have used it every weekend camping. The longest it will hold ice is about 10 hours before its completely warm and melted. I'm from Maryland where spring & summer days range 70-85 degrees.

It's really big and, when loaded, really heavy. Definitely a two-person job to lift it in and out of the back of the car. But the telescoping handle and big wheels make it easy to pull along even when full. The picnic tray is surprisingly handy. Little kids can pull their little chairs up to it and eat at it like a table. Extra storage spots are great and the waterproof one is fully lined in rubber. Works well. Would easily be a 5-star product if they knocked it down to 55 or 60 quarts.

as soon as I received it I started check out the features of the cooler. starting with the handle just so it can come out all the way and now it does not stay in. this issue caused the cooler to fall down some concrete steps when I stopped the handle came out. also did not hold ice but the melted ice water did stay pretty cold. the ice issue may be my fault.

LOVED THIS! Has space on the front for your keys and sunglasses, chairs and beach towels bungeed to the top, fishing rods or umbrellas in the back, lots of cup holders, wheels go right thru the sand. Also holds ice for days. Couldn't ask for anything more.

I have been eying the Trailmate coolers since they first came out. I even looked at them in our local retail store. But I wasn’t prepared as I had thought about my purchase of one. Once I decided to order one I waited for it to arrive like Linus for a Valentine from the red headed girl. In reality it only took a few days to arrive and boy was I amazed. I immediately fell in love with it. We took it last weekend on an all yay trip at a near by lake. My older grandkids loved it too. Couldn’t be happier. One downside though about the delivery packaging. There isn’t any. Just the cooler in a box. This caused scratches on the top and corners. Not real bad in my opinion, but they’re never the less.

Just received our new cooler and cant wait to take her out on first camping/fishing trip. Love the umbrella/ fishing pole holders, the convenient pull out tray, bottle opener on each side, the super cool large wheels for easy travel over ruff trails, love that we can stack our chair on top and places to secure them down while pulling cooler to final destination. We loved all the available colors.....nice touch! Highly recommended- from Henderson, Nevada

Very happy with our purchase, the tray is so genius and functional. This cooler is so easy to take along trips. Hold our drinks cold for 3 day out in the sun. Kept our phones out of the sun and free from dirt and water damage in the compartment The only thing I would like is that the cup holder holes on top of the ice chest are to small to fit a Hydroflask. it would be perfection if there were bigger. out of our 4 coolers this is our favorite and will be on all our trips for now on. I am so happy we invested our money on this cooler instead of a Yeti for the price I paid on the Igloo and all the extras on it was well worth it.

Purchased during their Memorial Day sale. The Olive green is more gray than green. The plastic storage area in the front is handy but made of a thin plastic that probably hold up long. The fishing rod/umbrella holders are a cool feature and this cooler offers more than others on the market. Husband is happy overall but I think it’s overpriced.

I owned a igloo coldmax cooler for nearly 15 years and all it ever needed was new hinges. This cooler was used on countless family camping trips and did its job. When I saw the Igloo Trailmate 70 Qt I knew this would be the cooler to replace my coldmax. So far I have been very impressed, the Trailmate was designed for people who love adventure and a cold beverage. My only gripe is the telescopic pull handle is sometime difficult to extend. The ice retention is great for a cooler that isn't rotomolded. I had a 20lb bag of ice in the cooler for the last 4 days in 75 to 80 degree weather and there is still roughly 10 lbs remaining in the cooler. The features and the price sold me on this cooler, rugged, oversized wheels, and sturdy metal base, detachable fishing rod holders that can be used for other items like umbrellas. Two bottle openers is nice as well as all the tiedown points and the tray that attaches to the pull handle. Other companies that will remain nameless would have those items available but each upgrade would cost you more and more money. The bottom-line is simple if you're not going into bear country for days on end, or you're not going to be stuck on a boat for two weeks save your money and by the Trailmate, it will go wherever you want to be and it would require a back brace and a second set of hands to get it there.

Overall pleased with the product; however, bungee hooks should have holes in them, the cooler is also difficult to lift into a vehicle without appropriate handles, and it is too tall to fit under the bed cover of my truck. Would be nice to have an option where the wheels and base fold in or remove for loading into truck beds with bed covers.
