I ordered this as a donation for a charity event last year. I was tempted then to purchase one for myself and when the winner raved about it, I made the decision to do it. Absolutely a rugged beast. I pack the car with goods that must stay cold to take to our place up north and they stay completely cold and/or frozen. 5-hour car trip, several times a year, no problem. The scoping handle makes pulling easy. Also easy to load to SUVs, boats, RV, etc. Worth every penny.

Overall really nice cooler but has a few opportunities to be 5 stars Pros: Huge wheels, robust handle, plenty of storage, really like the dry storage and looks great Opportunities: 1. Needs some more robust plastic for the tie downs (what they have is weak and feel like any amount of real pressure will snap them off) 2. A latch for the lid (just to make sure it doesnt open (I plan to go off-roading and if this goes on its side the lid will open and all the contents would be on the ground, if it had better tie downs I'd say they would work with a bungee cord but I already talked about that)

Cooler is very sturdy and love the storage. It's a great size between too bulky and not enough room. Very disappointed in cold and ice retention. I have had this cooler about 2 weeks and have used it every weekend camping. The longest it will hold ice is about 10 hours before its completely warm and melted. I'm from Maryland where spring & summer days range 70-85 degrees.

as soon as I received it I started check out the features of the cooler. starting with the handle just so it can come out all the way and now it does not stay in. this issue caused the cooler to fall down some concrete steps when I stopped the handle came out. also did not hold ice but the melted ice water did stay pretty cold. the ice issue may be my fault.

A cooler that has everything. I love all the features of this cooler especially the wheels and table. I have not pulled it in sand yet and am interested to see if that will work as advertised but everything else is awesome. In the future I hope they come without so much texture on the exterior so you can put stickers on them

It's really big and, when loaded, really heavy. Definitely a two-person job to lift it in and out of the back of the car. But the telescoping handle and big wheels make it easy to pull along even when full. The picnic tray is surprisingly handy. Little kids can pull their little chairs up to it and eat at it like a table. Extra storage spots are great and the waterproof one is fully lined in rubber. Works well. Would easily be a 5-star product if they knocked it down to 55 or 60 quarts.

The Trailmate Journey Igloo cooler is everything it says it is. My only critic is that it is bigger than I thought. I'm single so it's a bit too big for me but I figure I will get lots of use out of it by loaning it out to family and friends as well as use it for me on occasion too.

I really like this new cooler. It has a lot of useful features. The only thing that could have made it better would have been some kind of handle or grip to lift it up into the truck/suv. Its very difficult to try and lift it up. Other than that,its perfect

The Trailmate Journey 70 Qt seems to be well built with a lot of great features. It's only going to be an occasional use cooler and we have not used it as of yet. I do with the seal on the lid was a little more secure but when transporting for our uses it shouldn't be a problem.

So many complaints on this cooler. My husband and I took it to the creek strapped to our ATV. Handled it like a champ. We love ALL the features and room. We originally wanted the brumate for our annual family beach trip. But, worried about the tap in the sand. Went with this and it’s a 10/10 for us.
