Plug In Scent is Different

Lavender Chamomile Plug Ins were a nice subtle scent for my business office bathrooms. I didn't realize the scent had changed when it came time to purchase more, but I sure smelled the difference when I walked in the office the next day. I was taken back by the overpowering, candy-like scent. I gave it a chance but after clients made comments and the bad headache it gave me I'm afraid this is going in the trash. So sad Air Wick made this change. When it comes to air fresheners I'm particular. This never really smelled like true lavender, but it was pleasant and now it's way too fake and strong .

changed the scent

I too purchased refills. It's the only scent I use that doesn't nauseate me. OMG I couldn't figure out what the smell was in my house and then went to my mothers house (who also has used this scent forever) and her house smelled the same. Why why why did you change the scent. It smells nothing like lavender anymore!!! I hate the new scent!

AWFUL!!!

WHY? Why would you change something so great and make it SO AWFUL!! I have used the air wick lavender plug ins for Years! It was always so nice to come home. Everyone always commented on how great my house smelled! Not anymore! The "new smell" is the WORST!My husband had picked up a new pack and plugged it up. I thought we had a "bad pack", so we put in another one. It smells SO BAD! It makes me mad to smell it!! NO hint of Lavender. I can't believe AirWick could mess this up so badly!!! CHANGE IT BACK!!!

Scent change

I’m not happy about the scent change. The lavender has been the only plug in that doesn’t trigger migraines with its light smell. I just put one of the new refills in and it is so flowery. Please bring back the old or consider relooking at this new scent again to make it less like a floral perfume. I’ve been using this scent for years and am so disappointed. I’m going to have to find something else to use in my home.

DISGUSTING! Why change the original smell?!

I've been using this scent for more years than I can count. It is the only scent that doesn't give me headaches. I thought I was going crazy when I recently bought more and they smelled totally different. I went to a second store unrelated to the first and and bought another set of refills. Sure enough, they too smelled terrible. I'm so glad to read these other reviews and see that others are noticing the same unpleasant difference. A funeral home is more pleasant than this new formulation! Please please PLEASE go back to the original formulation!!

It Wasn’t Broken!!!!!!

I normally don’t give reviews. Like many have stated, this new formula is not good. For years it was a warm & smooth scent. Now it’s sharp & almost piercing. I thought it was just me but, now I see it wasn’t. If I could rate the scent a zero, I would. PLEASE CHANGE BACK TO LAST SCENT MIX.

This was okay but not the best scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lavender was overpowering and that was all you could smell. Also didn't really smell like rea lavender. Also suppose to last longer than it did. Even on the lowest setting they only lasted about 2 weeks. .Somewhat disappointed as AIr Wick scents used to be better.

Bring back the original Lavender & Chamomile

I absolutely loved the scent of the original Lavender & Chamomile plug-ins. I had them all over my house and received many compliments from guests. However, the "New" version of this scent is absolutely awful. The smell if completely different than the original and quite frankly, it stinks. Please bring back the original scent! I recommend advertising it as "Original" so we will all know it is safe to purchase this product once again.

Horrible change :(

I buy these all the time and was trying a different brand for a while. Came back to this lavender chamomile scent my family Loves only to find you changed the smell? It gives me a headache and smells just awful!! I am so disappointed! Hopefully I can return for a refund.

Why did they change this scent?

We have been using this scent for years and loved it as it was the only scent that didn’t send my allergies off as soon as I walk in the room. It was warm and comforting. This new formula is terrible and I am so disappointed. Just bought 40 refills and they are all getting sent back. They make my home smell like fake horrible air freshener. If this is the new formula going forward....you have lost a customer.
