Just started using this vacuum cleaner this morning I have to tell you this vacuum cleaner is not a good one. Couple things that I have issues with is 1. The cord is way too short to the vacuum and the swivel part it's not as durable nor does it swivels as well as I needed it to do to get into places that are most important. Something else is having to change the cord multiple times within my great room which consisted of five different times. Not a good start to let you guys know I generally use Dyson in my home. With Dyson I never have to remove the cord to clean my great room there's enough for the whole room and two other hallways that I have to do and consisting of going into one of my bedrooms to a certain degree. I honestly cannot recommend this vacuum cleaner it does not work as well as others that I've had. Disappointed will be picking up a new Dyson as I generally have two on hand to take care of the needs of my home. That's saying it's just a homeowner having options this is not one of them. Realizing after one use just starting that it just wasn't going to work and I really did give it a try I've had a shark before and it was a little bit better and more durable than this one right here so before anyone takes this out of context let me keep it where it belongs in the trash the vacuum cleaner will not cut it in my home. To end I will be taking this back tomorrow and I will be moving on cuz this just doesn't cut it.

It works ok but only giving 3 stars as there is a design flaw and the accessories that come with it do not actually fit where they are supposed to. There are several reviews on-line that highlight the same issue. Might not be a deal breaker for some but if you plan to use the attachments often you are going to have to store them in a closet or something. Have been impressed with SHARK products before and very surprised this would make it through design unnoticed.

Pros are its very light weight compared to most. It has great suction, very easy to switch from carpet to floor, and it really doesn't get hair wrapped around the brush like most vacuums that have been killed due to my once long hair. So no need to replace broken belts or having to cut handfuls of hair from the brush which was always my problem. It sucks all hair into the container! Awesome!! Cons....attachments don't really attach, so you have to store them somewhere and try not to lose them. The swivel at first I thought great, this is great, it moves around so you're not smacking the vacuum into walls and corners, afraid of scraping or damaging anything, but shortly into vacuuming I can feel the stress it puts on the wrist. Because of the constant swiveling on the base, you're not using hand power to push and move the vacuum, but wrist power instead. My hand and wrist starts cramping after 5 mins or more of use because of that. I don't have arthritis, but if you do, just beware. Otherwise great product.

Don't buy if you have a shaggy rug. The vacuum has great suction it ruined parts of the rug. We have to use it on the rug with harwood floor option with low suction. Its also hard to push along the rug. Feels like a work out, but the vaccum works well on all other surfaces.

I was just hoping for something better that the worn out old vac. Really surprised at how well it works. Dog hair, long people hair were my worst problems, followed by leaves and other stuff that just floated in. So far it has conquered them all. It used to be that the dust cup was full by the time I finished the house, now it needs emptying after a room or two. Definitely worth the money.

Horrible Shark vacuum. I’ve had 4 Sharks before, never a complaint (except after a few years they just don’t work as well). This one is awful. Hardly any suction. Well worth spending another $50-75 for the standard one. I can see why it doesn’t have problems with hair wrapping around roller, it won’t suck it up! Thankfully, Sam’s customer service processed the return/refund for me quickly.

I just purchased this vacuum after having another Shark for many years which I loved. However, it doesn't take long to figure out that the newer model does not have the same qualities of their former models. It's unfortunate that Shark really lowered their standards. This model does not have the suction and falls short of being a good vacuum. I'd fix my old one, but Shark made it impossible to replace a simple belt on their beater bar. Shame on Shark

Ive had shark vacuums in the past and this one is by far the worst! Loud, does not pick up pet hair, suction is awful and did I mention, LOUD? Attachments barely fit on the vacuum which is inconvenient when you need them. All around terrible purchase.
