Its works great for pet clean up and allergens highly recommended. Easy to use not very heavy and maneuvers well.

When I mean it gets every nook and cranny! Great for high places with dust and flat carpet.

I love this vacuum.We live in the country and have pets so we are constantly trying to keep our floors clean. I’ve tried so many other brands but none of them cleaned like this one. It’s so easy to empty the canister and the bristles have stayed free of hair.

I bought this vacuum after a long affair with Dyson. My current vacuum decided to stop suctioning and had many broken plastic clips that let the dust get out and it was heavy.... But in this day and age who can afford to buy another Dyson? So I said to myself, my mother swears by her Shark products, so I'll have a look at those. I'm so very glad I did! This vacuum is ridiculously easy to use. Assembly was simple and easy. The clips that hold it together are sturdy and it seems all around to be well made. It's not heavy or huge and awkward. The filters really work. The suction is out of this world, and after the first use I dumped out so much cat hair that my Dyson failed to pick up over the past several months. I emptied the dust cup 3 times while vacuuming my 400sq ft living room. THREE TIMES! That's disgusting, I know, but that just goes to show that the price tag doesn't always matter. This was well worth the purchase. Thank you, Shark! My severe allergies will be forever grateful.

I wanted a new vacuum to replace my 10 year old Dyson without breaking the bank. This one looked as if it had a good foundation of features and the price was right. Pros: 5 year Warranty! ( add one year when purchased with Visa/MC it performs well with good vacuum power. Has the Hepa air filter Large clear collection compartment that’s easy to take in and off and easy to clean 2 attachments that are stored ON the vacuum Handle pulls out easily to become an extension for fans, stairs and crevices (2 onboard attachments included) Cons: I little bulky but lightweight, stores easily. NO light- I really like my vacuum to have a light to see dust and dog hair when vacuuming. Power cord is manually wound which isn’t that big a deal. Overall this is a good vacuum for well under $200. The 5 year warranty negates the few features I wish it had.

The best thing about this vacuum is that Sam’s club sells it, they stand behind the warranty and replace it when it breaks. There are 4 girls in our house so there is a lot of hair around and the vacuum does a great job picking it up off of the floor. The hair seems to put a lot of stress on the roller brush and the suction system itself. When the brush is cleaned it does a little better but eventually it will get to the point where it needs to be replaced. Sam’s club, without fail, has stood behind the warranty and replaced the vacuum. This has happened several times over the past 7 years and process still works. It’s the best deal for the money.

The problem with reviewing vacuum cleaners is that only time tells how good they really are. Durability is always key to a good vacuum cleaner. However, for the price, the Shark Rotator has excellent suction and upon initial use, the different head cleaner appears to be pretty good at preventing dog hair and other items that tend to clog it, from sticking. so, as of right now, im very happy with it. My real question is how long will it last. At this point, needing 3 vacuum cleaners in my house, ive tried Dyson (which was the absolute worst for the value. yes, it has suction but its no more practical than a Shark for twice the cost) and i've found Shark products to be the best on value and longevity. So far, this one is no different.

I've had several shark vacuum cleaners and have been happy with them, so when my last one started not picking up as well, I decided to replace it with this one. Overall it seems like a good unit though it really bothers me that shark would cheap out by not putting a light on the front of it and also by using such a short cord. I can't even clean my living room and dining room without pulling the cord out of the wall. I had no trouble with my last vacuum, so it seems they decided to use a shorter cord because this unit isn't as expensive. I've worked in electronics and cabling and I know that the cost of another 10 feet of cord isn't that much, so it really makes me mad that they've made this decision.

Not as advertised doesn’t pick up as well as as advertised very hard to get into tight spaces and does not work well on hardwood floors, actually going to return it

Item arrived damaged and Sams made return virtually impossible. Initial pickup arrived before unit had been revoked. Was told they would come back up to two more times. Never showed. Spent over a week trying to get them back to collect it with them suddenly unable to reach me on my phone they had successfully called previously making it impossible to arrange collection. Offered to take it back to store in frustration and they said not an option since collection had been set up. Clearly SAMs has a long way to go in the online shopping arena. For now they should stick with big box stores and I will stick with Amazon for online.
