This filter works great. We have high mineral and bad tasting water where we live. Use it for cooking, the dog's bowl, making coffee, etc.

This is just a simple charcoal filter and it won't give us what we need. Charcoal filters won't filter heavy metals and other important contaminants. Samsung is our "go to" brand but didn't like how they put just "charcoal" in their filter instead of KDF etc... If I need to buy another refrigerator, it won't be Samsung just because of the filter issue. I won't feel safe when I use my refrigerator filter, you "must" do better Samsung!
