They also filter the water before the ice cubes are made, so I have good confidence that the ice is clean too. Because they are first-party filters from the same manufacturer as my refrigerator, they work well. They are easy to install, and last about 6 mots in our household. We have a Samsung fridge so these are definitely compatible.

The filter works great and is easy to install. Getting it out of the plastic package is another issue. Regular scissors didn't do it. We had to use tin snips, and my husband cut his hand on the sharp plastic trying to get the filter out of the packaging. Please consider some other packaging option.
