You do have to store it in a plastic bag afterwards to preserve freshness. I like that the ingredients are clean and good for my dog’s stomachs. The texture is soft and easy for my dog to eat. I feel like this is a healthy food item, for which I am happy to give to my dog. My dog loved it. She is a medium sized Shiba Inu for reference.

She mainly eats dry food with coconut oil mixed in. Freshpet was definitely an enjoyable treat and a surprise for her. She ate it all up and was looking for more, lol. We had no issues such as allergy reactions. I'm very happy my furbaby enjoyed it so much!

The texture is a bit crumbly, but not too bad. It didnt smell bad. It honestly just smelled like dog food.

It is high quality real food not made with junk ingredients. It comes in a handy tube thats easy to serve. Sealed for freshness and has a long expiration date. I will continue to use this to hopefully give my dog a longer healthier life!

It doesn’t have a strange or strong smell either. My dog loved this food and gobbled it up! The only downside was having to cut it up for him to eat but it’s a trade off I’m willing to make to feel like I’m feeding real food.

The package had easy measuring marks and suggested meal sizes for the dog based on weight. I thought it smelled similar to bologna, one dog was obsessed with the smell and the other was so-so on it. That’s why I gave it 4 starts instead of 5. My girl can be a bit picky so I have to know she loves it for it to become something in my regular rotation.

I typically serve my dogs Freshpet, but they do have sensitive bellies and have a bit of gas afterwards. After feeding them Freshpet Sensitive Stomach and Skin Steam Cooked Chicken Recipe, the burps have been reduced and almost gone! My pups are obsessed with pumpkin, so naturally they love this flavor. The texture is softer than the usual rolls I purchase as well, which is great because one of my dogs is a senior. Will only be using this from now on!
