The chicken and veggies are visible, and the texture is soft and moist, not dry like most dog foods. My pup went straight for it and finished everything in minutes! It's gently steamed with natural ingredients like chicken, wholesome grains, and vitamin-rich carrots. I also noticed it's easier on digestion, and my dog's coat has been shinier since switching to this recipe. The ingredients are great for all dogs and they make some for sensitive tummies. The smell is something you have to get used to when feeding it but it's worth it and it's the only food my dog will only eat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time giving Freshpet Complete Nutrition chicken recipe with wholesome grains or any type of refrigerated dog food to my dog. She seemed to really enjoy it and would get excited at meal time. I was surprised that you were actually able to see the ingredients like grains and vegetables. The ingredients include freshly cooked farm raised chicken along with grains like brown rice and oats, as well as healthy vegetables that include carrots, peas, and spinach. These are helpful in maintaining weight, healthy gut, providing vitamins and mineral for nutrients and good for dogs with sensitive stomachs and may appeal to dogs that can be picky eaters. All the information you may need is on the packaging from ingredients, portion serving size, and storing refrigerator instructions and other helpful information. Although these are some really good points, I would say it can be a bit pricey, especially if you have a bigger dog(s) and you have to make sure you use the food before it can go bad because it is made fresh to eat and kept in the refrigerator.

I was actually surprised my sheltie ate this as hes always been picky with wet food. I like how the ingredients are Fresh and processed like regular dog food is in a factory.
