Have just received the product I still need to run it before I have a view on it

The oven won't maintain temp. Seemed to shut off for awhile, causing a temp drop of over 100 degrees or more. The stove is getting extremely hot while the oven is in use, to the point that the knobs are almost too hot to touch. We're concerned this could be dangerous since all the propane lines and valves are being exposed to the heat. It was set at 400 degrees at the time.

Having trouble understanding how the preheat process works. It takes 15-20 minutes to reach desired temperature. I have not yet found a tutorial video that matches the vague instructions in the manual.
