Unfortunately it's massed produced faje sourdough bread, as so many others. it tastes good but if you want the benefits of sourdough pass on this one. There's yeast in the ingredients which makes it not sourdough. At bedt its a hybrid bread. one of the wonderful things about sourdough is that it's easier to digest. The sourdough bacteria consume the gluten, so is virtually free of gluten, naturally, as humans have been reading for millennia. This had gluten added. What's the point, except to fill people. It's so hard to find real sourdough in Dallas. Also, it's half a loaf. I saw the same bread in Colorado, but twice as big, for the same price as the small loafs bought here. Disappointed.

I love sourdough bread and I don’t want Walmart to stop carrying this one because it’s an actual sourdough bread, but it tastes old. Also, they used to have one in this brand that had seeds in it and stuff and they stopped selling it and it was way better.

My mother-in-law came to visit for the weekend and she is a fan of sour dough bread. I placed an order and let her pick one out. She hadn't tried it before. She absolutely loved it and said it toasts well. It is now her new go-to bread. She is hoping her Walmart carries it up north, or we will have to send some to her. Huge slices!

I need this authentic sour dough bread for a serious chronic GI tract condition. Bread is good tasting, heavy, chewy and rustic. It helps supply good bacteria into the body. I’m now subscribed to receive because there have been times I could not get a loaf for two weeks. Only complaint would be to request more bread for the $$. I’m going through about $12-15 worth of bread a week right now.

This sourdough bread is so good, you will think you are eating homemade. It was recommended to me by a friend and I kept trying to order it from Walmart but it was always sold out as it's very popular. I got lucky this week and placed my order when it was in stock. Next order I place I'll order two loaves and keep one in the freezer since they sell out so fast.

One of the best sourdough breads I have found outside of San Francisco area. I love sourdough and can’t believe how many breads claim sourdough, but are very diminished of sourdough flavor. This is close to the original stuff without having to travel there.

I love this bread!! I saw some people complaining that it was moldy. I’ve never had that problem. I also saw some people complaining that it only had six slices of bread, but the slices are huge so I just cut them in half. Rustik has a wonderful sourdough taste. I have a problem with some sourdough bread hurting my stomach, but this one doesn’t do that. This is my favorite sourdough bread!

Used to be 5stars but the loaf is shrinking and the slices are getting thinner the taste is why I keep buying it so please makers, if you’re monitoring customer feedback stop with the waste away and charge more if you must because you are crossing the line already

The best tasting sourdough I have had since moving from the California bay area where sourdough was invented. I have started having stomach issues with regular white bread and even a couple other sourdough breads. Sourdough is a unique taste, (truly a bit sour) but because it is fermented, it is far better for you.

This sourdough’s is truly artisan. When toasted, the house smells like I just baked a cake. It’s the best for grilled cheese sandwiches and it’s the best with any spread, especially Avocado topped with fresh Roma tomatoes, fresh basil everything’s bagel herbs and sprayed with extra virgin olive oil and a touch of squeezed fresh lemon
