I love sourdough bread and I don’t want Walmart to stop carrying this one because it’s an actual sourdough bread, but it tastes old. Also, they used to have one in this brand that had seeds in it and stuff and they stopped selling it and it was way better.

I have a scale, and I weighed the bread, and apparently some of the bread was missing. So I changed bread brand to see if the same thing happens.. Same with carrots I don’t understand why anyone would take carrots, but I didn’t get the correct amount .

Whoever picked the items for my order really picked a bag that someone opened and stole slices from. I noticed the bag didn’t look as full and I could tell from the opening that it was opened because the bag clip wasn’t completely secured around the plastic. It was only on half of the plastic. I’m 1,000% positive the shopper knew someone had opened the bag and purposely picked it for my order, probably cause they needed to get rid of it but you can report something like that to a supervisor and properly dispose of it instead of risking the health of a customer. Absolutely sick and disgusting

This bread was awful. It tasted like a chemical of some type. My husband and daughter both took one bite and the asked me to taste it. They were right!! It was terrible threw the small, expensive, gross stuff in the trash. What a waste. Don’t buy it!

I absolutely love this bread. I love making toast with sourdough bread, the crunch you get when it's toasted to perfection. The taste and so fresh make this a bread I will continue to purchase. The only disappointment is that it is usually out if stock.

I love this sourdough bread! The taste is perfect, and the crust isn't too tough. The middle slices are large, so I cut them in half to make the perfect size sandwich. The end piece I later with butter for a great snack. I've bought it several times.

This is closest to San Francisco real sourdough bread as you can get; none of the other brands come close, especially not the in-house baked. (You should be able to smell a yeasty sourdough scent thru the wrapper, and CERTAINLY when you put your nose next to a slice of it.) However, beginning Sept. 2023, something changed at Rustik bakery. The crust is no longer firm and chewy. The half-loaves (you only get 6 slices per pkg, no one took any out!) are put into cellophane wrapper before they cool down, making the bread too moist and therefore squishy. There ought to be some big airholes in sourdough; there aren't. Nevertheless, this is the very best sourdough available in Las Vegas, NV grocery stores and you get addicted to it.

One of the best sourdough breads I have found outside of San Francisco area. I love sourdough and can’t believe how many breads claim sourdough, but are very diminished of sourdough flavor. This is close to the original stuff without having to travel there.

Used to be 5stars but the loaf is shrinking and the slices are getting thinner the taste is why I keep buying it so please makers, if you’re monitoring customer feedback stop with the waste away and charge more if you must because you are crossing the line already

I'm not a bread fanatic, I keep my loaves in the freezer, so they don't get moldy before I'm finished with them. but I fell in love with Sourdough bread, years ago while visiting California. Rustic Oven Sourdough, is the best Sourdough that I've had since my last trip to San Francisco. I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I finished this loaf in 5 days. Thank You, my Walmart shopper, for putting this Rustic Owen Sourdough Bread in my order !!
