MOLD!

I bought 2 different ones and both had them covered in mold! This was in the Sam’s at Mooresville, NC

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. Member’s Mark Griddles are pre-treated with cooking oil to prevent rust and damage during shipping. For first time use, wash griddle with hot, soapy water.THIS IS THE ONLY TIME YOU SHOULD USE SOAP ON THE GRIDDLE COOKING SURFACE. Rinse and dry completely. Proceed with seasoning instructions. If you have any additional questions or concerns about your griddle top, don't hesitate to give Member's Mark Help Center a call toll-free at (888) 301-0332 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. CST Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST on Sundays. Please have the item number from your receipt, the serial number, the product UPC and/or the product description ready to provide to our Member Care Professional. Hope this helps!
