I put felt pads under feet so that I can regularly clean dryer vent with ease, otherwise I can't move the machine. I must keep the doors open- if not puddles form in both washer and dryer.

It is elegant looking so looks nice as people walk by, which is important to me since it isn't hidden in a closet or its own laundry room. The machine itself is quiet and works well. The only reason this doesn't get 5 starts is because there is a tiny knocking sound during the spin cycle. At first I thought there was someone at my door. I thought it was a problem with my particular machine until I spoke to others with the same unit and expressed the same thing. I also have had trouble connecting the units to wifi so I can download a program, but I have not had a chance to call customer service to resolve the issue. I am sure once it is up and running it will be great. Just wish it was more turnkey.

We enjoy its smaller footprint while still doing the same sized loads as side-by-side units. Very simple and easy to use. I also really enjoy its smart capabilities with the LG ThinQ app which notifies me when to run a tub clean cycle etc. Maintenance is the key to any products longevity and its incredibly nice to get reminders automatically and to also have them walk you through how to do it as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced a 16 year old washer and a 21 year old dryer - so it is a vast improvement. I live in a condo, and the washer and dryer are in the passage from the unit to the garage, so there is limited space. The old washer and dryer fit side-by-side, but the space is so shallow that any new side-by-side options would block the exit door, so stacking was the only option. My neighbors with the same floor plan have stacked LG washer/dryers. I love that this unit is pre-stacked and the controls are in the center. It washes and dries much more efficiently than my old models. The only downside is that when the dryer door is open, the latch is just about eye level - and I have to get around the door to carry laundry in. An automatic retractible latch would be a great safety feature!

Bought in November but didn’t arrive for install until early January so losing a month and a half on the warranty. This thing is far too loud. One of the spin cycles sounds like a turbine engine starting up. Dryer keeps giving the d90 blocked duct error code even after duct cleaning. It can’t possibly be blocked 90% if the ducts have been cleaned. It’s a beautiful machine but hoping I can get the error codes issue fixed. Considering sound-proofing the laundry room since we’re remodeling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like a lot of things about it. It looks beautiful and for the most part is what I wanted out of a stackable unit. My complaints lie with the dryer. When I open the door a bunch of lint/hair is stuck to the rubber part of the door. I assume this is a design flaw and it’s super annoying. The lint trap is cleaned before each load so I am not sure why this happens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ...the old stack I had. A big leap in washing tech, reads the load and designs a best dryer plan. It just barely fit in the space of the old stack after making minor mods to the water cutoffs (vertical vs horiz) and adding 90 deg turn hoses too - so measure several times to be sure. Clothes come out super clean, and washer is easy to keep dry and odor free. A giant thick bathrobe in the same load as a pillow is enough to unbalance and block from high spin in the washer, so make smart choices when doing the infrequent unusual items. Otherwise, the combo is 100% :)

Being 5’2”, I always wanted to maximize space in our laundry room, but without a stool, I could not reach controls on the top appliance or make sure I had removed everything.
