The family has used this unit a few times throughout the past few weeks and we love it so far. The spin wash cycles are quick and the dryer gets the job done with the specified settings. Coming from another brand, the LG washer/dryer combo is much more efficient at getting the job done in a smaller form factor. The only reason for giving the combo unit a 4/5 star rating is the WiFi setup and app are a little clunky to use for multiple users, and it would be nice to have more customization for phone push notifications. The WiFi options are also a bit limited, but most of the time someone is at home anyway to check up on the unit. Another ding for the score is the dryer gasket tends to attract a lot of lint, so after every use, the lint collection net, the gasket, and the floor of the unit needs to be cleaned up a bit before putting the next load in.

I love the smart features and even the app that lets me select different modes (towels, sportswear, etc.). Saves a lot of water and the best feature is how quiet it is. No more cyclical squeaking.

While we've only had this a month so far, it's been better than expected. The wash cycle is faster than we've come to learn for a high efficiency washer, which was a pleasant surprise. Clothes come out very clean. App is OK but usable. Integration into Alexa is really nice. Very nervous being a single unit how easy it will be to repair down the road. If one unit dies, you're throwing out the other half. They do come apart for repair and moving but that just adds to the time and complexity, which will be much more expensive for a repairman, and much more time for DIY repairs. Fingers crossed that remains to be seen.

Only one personal gripe - I wish they came with rubber hose hook-ups. I really don't like the stiff, uncooperative braided wire hoses (its all you can find these days).

I bought a new house and wanted NEW everything…new washer and dryer, dishwasher, dishes lol..you get it…anyway I wasn’t sure of what I wanted until I saw it standing in the midst of the rest so tall and regal…I fell in love and now I’m using which is the best part…thank LG…just bought a brand new 65” inch flat screen for the basement too!!! Baby clothes, heavy bedding, my hubby's work clothes, my delicate quilts and hand crocheted bed canopy were all handled perfectly. Everything is clean and fresh. I heartily recommend the LG Wash Tower.

Purchased the washer tower to replace a stacked washer and dryer. Couldn’t be happier. Clothing comes out actually smelling clean! For my 5’4” frame, having the controls in the middle of the two machines is perfect! I also love that the LG app expands the features for both the washer and dryer. The only downside is my old washer had a feature that would keep the clothes fresh after the cycle had finished. This washing machine only allows you to select the fresh care in the app, not on the machine itself which is very inconvenient.

We had repair folks out 3 times but they could not solve the common problem issue so we decided to replace the units rather than dump more money which might not result in an acceptable solution. The washer is very quiet and the clothes are almost dry after the spin cycle. The dryer is also very quiet and the clothes dry quickly.

I really like the Allergiene and Turbowash features. My cat loves the chime at the end of the cycles. I also like the LG ThinQ app. I did not think I would even use it, but it has come in handy many times. The unit fits just right in an oversized closet in our renovated guest room. It is a great addition to our household.
