[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is perfect for small places where stand alone units will not fit. Even though it is a stacked unit it is not too tall for shorter people. All the controls are in the center which makes it very user friendly. If you are a tech person you will love the features in the app. It did take some time for me to figure out how to connect the unit to the app. The instructions are not very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The WashTower is the highest performance washer/dryer. Every element of this WashTower is perfection. Both interior and exterior finishes are smooth. The features I appreciate so much are the highly functional choices for the wash cycles. The day my WashTower was delivered, I had a blast washing everything in the house. Blankets, sheets, normal wash loads, bulky or delicates all came out cleaner than ever. I know instantly, when each load is complete because I receive a message on my phone. It's a pleasure to hear the electronic musical song played when a load is complete. My clothing was cleaner and brighter. The texture of my towels became so fluffy again!!! My white cotton sheets came out softer than ever and the natural sheen glowed. The WashTower is extremely quiet, even during the spin cycle of bulky items. The WashTower is worth the price. It's sleek and stylish and the footprint takes up less room than traditional washer/dryer combos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this LG washer/dryer after living 4 years with a very noisy washing machine. This machine is very quiet, including a pleasant, short tune that plays to indicate the washing or drying cycle has ended. The capacity is remarkable. Minimal soap is needed to clean a load. The dryer is efficient and effective in drying clothes to the desired degree. I was confused initially as there is no means to manually end a cycle. I am accustomed to being able to turn off a dryer when a load has been sufficiently dried. I discovered the machine will automatically cycle off in the "Pause" mode after several minutes. Being of short stature, I especially appreciate having the controls for both washer and dryer situated in the middle, between the two stacked machines. Overall, we are very happy.

Outstanding piece of technology. Super efficient washing and drying both with low levels of nose. The one negative is the user friendliness of the app. The app gives access to a range of online programs but: 1/ The do not include the standard manual options available on the machine- why? 2/ To access the options one needs to remember to click on the down site next to the word NORMAL- again why? Please upgrade the app interface.

Purchased the washer tower to replace a stacked washer and dryer. Couldn’t be happier. Clothing comes out actually smelling clean! For my 5’4” frame, having the controls in the middle of the two machines is perfect! I also love that the LG app expands the features for both the washer and dryer. The only downside is my old washer had a feature that would keep the clothes fresh after the cycle had finished. This washing machine only allows you to select the fresh care in the app, not on the machine itself which is very inconvenient.

If you're reading this, hopefully you already did you due diligence and noted from other reviews that despite the site's description, this stack requires a 110 and a 220 outlet. Fortunately we caught that before the contractor was done with electric! Our first delivery came damaged from the last-mile carrier and it took a couple weeks for the new one. Other than that, we're very happy with the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first new washer/dryer ever! I am so happy with it. My clothes come out so clean and fresh! I really like the Allergiene and Turbowash features. My cat loves the chime at the end of the cycles. I also like the LG ThinQ app. I did not think I would even use it, but it has come in handy many times. The unit fits just right in an oversized closet in our renovated guest room. It is a great addition to our household.

What we love about it: Center control panel makes selecting wash or dry settings easy. Our clothes come out feeling perfect every time... it doesn't destroy your clothes It looks great, flat doors, sleek design It's quiet... though when you have the turbo wash on, you can hear it! On that, the only critique would be that the turbo wash option can be a bit loud. But we live in an industrial loft style condo and it's not in a laundry room with a closed door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this knowing that LG only offers it with the hinge on the left but it is the only full size W/D that I could find that stacked and wasn't too tall. The unit is meant for a small space which is what I was putting it in (with sloping roof) and I went through all the throws of whether or not I could still use it with the left hinge. Though it fits it is inconvenient loading and unloading clothes. With a right sided hinge this would have been a five star review but because I replaced an excellent LG W/D Combo that had space problems and I had at least hoped for a much better solution to my problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 1 year ago and I still get excited when it's time for laundry, because of this machine. I know that's silly, but on top of doing a fantastic job cleaning, drying, and steaming clothes, it's beautiful and fun to operate. I love that the dryer knows what settings to use based on what was just washed -- they talk to each other! SO quiet (except for the finishing chimes, they go on for quite the song), so efficient, I'm a very happy customer.
