[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of months ago. I am very satisfied with the function of the machines. My only complaint is the app that is used to control/communicate with the washer/drier combo. I can not get the app to even recognize my machines. So, it is essentially useless to me. That is disappointing, because one of the main advertisement points was the ability to use the app/technology on these machines. Other than that, I am satisfied.

My only gripe is that I kind of miss physical buttons, since the entire interface is capacative touch, and sometimes I have soap on my hands when I need to run the laundry. Note: I had an absolutely horrible experience with the appliance installers, but I don't blame that on LG.

In spring 2022, I bought a Frigidaire single unit washer/dryer because the house I purchased in 2012 came with an earlier model. I was happy with that one so when it was time to replace it, I chose the latest Frigidaire unit, I was unhappy from day one. In fact the first one delivered was defective and replaced. I finally concluded that the engineering on that unit was done by people who don’t do laundry. A local appliance store recommended the LG. I really wanted to buy American but based on the store’s recommendation, I got the LG, partly because the controls were sensibly positioned for a short person. I thought I preferred the Frigidaire top loader because it gave me a place to fold clothes but I’ve adapted to the front loader and prefer it now, especially the more measured use of water. And I like the fabric softener dispense which the other didn’t have. My only criticism is that I don’t think I’m able to select the water temperature for the rinse cycle. It appears to use the same temp as the wash cycle. This LG unit is far superior to the former unit that it is hard to find words to compare. I’m so glad I switched to LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Besides its great design it has streamlined features and ease of use. When finished its cycle, it has a very pleasant sound/signal letting you know it has completed its task. Washing and Drying results are superb.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice and compact and fits in the spot we chose. Great features and very quiet when the laundry door is closed. Previously we only had a washer and had to use my moms dryer which was inconvenient especially when it rained. Our mom has a dryer in a enclosed patio which we had to carry our wet laundry outside to get to her patio. We live in a duplex and her patio entrance was all the way behind her house.

In addition to being nice looking, its features are relatively intuitive for snior citizens!!! The LG's owner's manual & on-line tutorials have been very helpful especially with downloading & installing the LG ThinQ app. Much appreciated are the larger capacities for both the washer & dryer that was installed in the same space as the replaced 9-10 year old LG stacked washer/dryer. The basic functions seem to be relatively unflexible but perhaps that can be remedied with continued use and/or the ThinQ appl

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer and dryer fits perfectly in the small wash closet that is in my house. It looks and works great! I was looking at a less expensive stackable unit, with top load washer, but am so glad that I spent more and got this unit. It has so many features and for being a unit that fits a smaller space, it has great capacity! I am very happy with it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before buying this , I had an older side by side washer and dryer. It was very noisy and took forever to wash and dry our clothes. Our new unit is very quiet and has multiple settings that quickly washes and drys everything. Even the spin cycle, which was quite noisy on the old unit, is quieter and takes less time. We are very, very happy with our new LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this unit about a month and it is definitely the most quiet washer and dryer I've ever owned. Works great without issue. My only negative thought is not having a detergent reservoir for more than one load. I just have to get back in the habit of adding detergent every load. Spoiled by our previous washer.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love it! The controls are easy to reach and understand. I replaced lg singles, stacked, that I’d had for 15 years. I trust LG. If these are as good as my last set, I couldn’t ask for anything more.
