[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a "stacked" washer dryer for my new laundry room. I really liked the look of the LG WashTower especially with the controls in the middle. I have been using it for about a month now and really like it. The wash cycles are very quick compared to old washer and the dryer also takes much less time than my old unit. It was simple to figure out which cycles to choose to get the correct temp and spin levels. It took a few tries to get the app set up on my phone, but I LOVE getting the alerts that the load is finished. We routed the dryer vent out of the side of the machine so it could sit closer to the wall (super simple). We also purchased flatter angled hoses for the same reason. So far, I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this and have been happy with it. I like that it pings my phone when the loads are done. With two college kids home for the summer it is nice to remind them since they tend to forget about their laundry. The settings are intuitive. It took me a bit to figure out the custom loads that the machine downloads but I understand now.

The electronic controls were a little intimidating at first, but after just a few uses we found them to be pretty intuitive. This is an attractive and well-optioned unit.

However, with limited time and space, I took a chance on the LG Tower and couldn't be happier. I love the control panel in the middle. I'm short and can't reach stacked units. The washer completely cleans the clothes in reasonable time and the dryer is perfect. I also love that the clean out trap for the washer is easy to get to. I don't like the chore, but being able to handle it easily, means I don't put it off. Don't forget the steam! Honestly, I feel like I have the luxury model for the price of a good washer and dryer.

It has worked flawlessly since and has been so reliable that we purchased another for our second vacation rental. We tell the guests to leave the washer door open a crack to avoid mildew smells and we get a bit of sand around the dryer seal (beach rental) that we wipe off. No issues with performance in almost 2 years and the controls are easy to use.

I told my daughter and son in law needed a new washer and dryer. I told them that they should get this unit. They are now waiting for it to be delivered. It would be 5 stars but I can't connect the unit to the app on my phone. I've tried everything but unplugging it. I live in an apartment by myself and this is not feasible.

I bought this because of the simple features. Although when I used it I could not change heat setting on normal load. Talked with service and said to place a service call after a lengthy work through to fix. Placed Service request. Another hour long call pushing buttons with someone in India. They tell me that machine only has medium high available and to change to bedding setting. So ridiculous.

Different ones I looked at were top loaded and the dryer unit was too high for me to get the clothes out. The salesman at S&W suggested this model & I love it. Still trying to figure out some of the buttons, but so far, it is working great, and I am having fun buying pieces to complete the room.

The washer dryer provides many operating options including a wrinkle removing spray, plays music, and can easily be operated by a cell phone. And it does a great job.
