Picture quality is excellent, 4k also nice, unfortunately not much available. Smart feature runs most channels except cable box but acceptable. Good value and AI compatible making for an interesting experience.

picture is good with good contrast most of the time, but now and then you get blurry and distorted picture . the other tv's in my house do not do this, only the new one .

I have owned Samsung tv’s for twenty years and have never been disappointed. The same is true with the85 inch model. Brightness, upscaling and uniformity are all excellent.

Visually the tv is great. The OS could use some work. The apps run slow. The battery in the rechargeable remote did not last long. However, I do like the tv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted this TV (QN80F) to work out, but I simply could never get it adjusted to look as good as my 12 year old Samsung (UN60JU7100). In the store the picture looked fantastic, but of course, they put content on there that is designed to wow you. I did not like the AI settings at all. Colors were not as vivid as expected and detail was lacking. I will to accept it might be me, but I returned the Samsung and the TCL I replaced it with meets all my expectations.

My old TV would freeze up on many videos before which was frustrating. The picture quality is definitely better and makes viewing anything so much nicer. Resolution and brightness are much sharper with this TV showing the incredible vibrancy that I did not have with the previous TV. Great purchase!

The 85 inch Neo QLED "QN80FD" has amazing picture quality everything is very high contrast punchy bright vibrant. There is no lag with this screen or when watching sports it moves very fluid. The high refresh rate definitely makes a big difference. The resolution has been top notch with all my streaming services super crisp/detailed . My streaming devices and surround sound were a cinch to add to the plentiful inputs. The TV also works flawlessly with my Samsung Galaxy phone devices in my house household. You definitely need 2 strong people to lift this tv up.

Very disappointed in the model I purchased and in fact returned it to Costco and exchanged it for the same size TV in an LG model. The stand is very cheap for such a large and expensive TV. My Samsung I bought 20 yrs ago had a nice thick round glasslike stand that turned, MUCH BETTER. Also, the remote was awful...so tiny . HATED it.
