This grill is a rebranded Canadian grill (Coleman Cookout) it's double walled which has made winter grilling really easy. There are extreme temperature fluctuations if you use the brand of pellets that are sold at Sam's Club. As much as 30 degrees ether direction the entire cook. At first I blamed it on the grill but when I tried a different brand of pellets it holds within a couple degrees the whole cook. The pellet brands I have liked so far has been pitboss and lumberjack. But I assume there are many other pellets that would work too.

bought this to replace my 9 yr old smoke hollow which i really used a lot. assembly went well. does heat to 500 degrees. insulated so uses less fuel. heats hotter on right side than left. the 3 racks are useful. and I like the temperature probes. plan on cooking turkey in it.

I normally don't leave reviews, but in this case the quality was so poor, I felt obligated to do so. Bought the grill a few months ago and from the pics, description and better PID controllers looked exactly what I was looking for. To begin with, the grill had a problem maintaining the lower temperatures, but I worked around and just lowered temperatures and let the grill run hotter than input temperature. On a good note, at the full smoking function at 200 degrees, it did hold the temp there. The grill was always covered and pellets pulled when not in use. However after 3 uses, the paint on cover began to fade and paint on fire box completely came off and will rust in a short time. It's unfortunate how the quality turned out to be on this. It looked to be a great compromise to the more expensive name brand grills, but was let down very quickly. It may just be the unit I received, but in any case after 3 uses, the protective paint shouldn't be falling off.

Loved it when I first started using it but like others kept getting more and more frequent Err codes. All support did was send me parts and tell me to replace them. First two temp sensors then the entire control panel. Still frequent Err codes with anything low temp. High temp grilling worked great and made some pretty good steaks. Trying to smoke or anything no go. This product should be discontinued it is a nightmare. Finally just got a refund. No user should have to go through the replacement of parts that they put me through/

I purchased this unit on 3/13/2022. Pretty excited about it as I am one who grills nearly every night. Loved the grill and thought for the pricing and the extras it had was really a strong buy. Started to have error codes and problems with burner kicking on and reaching temps. Decided to call on my warranty all parts 2 years. Used the Customer care line and was told not uncommon with that much usage that a ignitor and a sensor would go out. Good News the parts were covered under the warranty although I had to pay nearly $16 in shipping and found out the parts really weren't that expensive. I asked if they could send me information as to how I would change out the parts. One manual 20 pages long for ignitor and 12 pages for the sensor. It took me 5 hours to take a part and put back together with new parts. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this product. I had owned a Traeger and I thought it was really expensive compared to this unit, BUT I never experienced a 5 hour repair on one. Just thought you should know!

This is not my first pellet grill. I've had another brand for 5 years. I WOULD have given this grill 5 stars, but the directions for setting the temp between 160-200 degrees (perfect smoking temperatures) is lacking. When I called the customer service number the first time I was unable to get anywhere. The second call was much more promising, but the follow up information I received did not solve the problem. I have emailed back several times and it appears I have been ghosted by the customer service rep. She was collaborating with her boss to try and find an answer. The grill itself is of good quality, is very efficient with it's pellet consumption, and cooks well. As long as you can cook between 200-500, everything is great. I need to be able to smoke food at 160-200 for full functionality! Great grill, poor instructions for low temperature use.... I still need help!
