This is definitely not lump charcoal more like chipped up Chump charcoal. From my experience it burns up to quickly it makes a mess because it is more like crumbs that lump charcoal. "BUYER BE WARE"

I opened this bag for the first time and it appears to be nothing but charcoal chips. There are no "lump" charcoal pieces. Air flow through my smoker is poor as a result and it is taking forever to light.

Agree with all prior 1 star reviews this is far from lump!!! All small broken pieces Only good to add on already started fire and then not that good.

I bought this charcoal and I am so happy that I did!! This works really well in both of my smokers, it burns nice and clean and maintains that temperatures that I need!!

We got three bags for an overnight cook and the charcoal was terrible. It was mostly dust and tiny pieces that we blew through way too fast. Will not buy again.

Most pieces are no larger than a half dollar, meaning most of this will fall through your grate mere minutes after taking light. Not only will I not buy again, I logged in just to help keep others from making the same mistake.

Burns hot, clean, and lasts a long time! Love that it's all-natural with no chemicals. Perfect for grilling and gives great flavor. Definitely my go-to charcoal from Sam’s Club!
