[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband had used these to grill meat and seafood and it's been great. It cooked like any other coal. And it cooked well. It didn't give up a lot of smoke so that's a plus.

The chunks are ridiculously small. It's like when you get to the bottom of a bag of lump charcoal. But the entire bag is like that. Maybe you can use it for hot and fast if it doesn't all completely fall through your grates.

It is veey good, burns clean but i start my fires with a chimney starter and the small pieces fall through compared to other charcoals I've used in the past.

Burned hot and held up very well. Very good amount of intact chunks of wood. Some companies practically give you shavings. Mellow smoke flavor, shouldnt overpower anything. Great value, I'll buy again
