Great Fuel with bigger chunks

Burned hot and held up very well. Very good amount of intact chunks of wood. Some companies practically give you shavings. Mellow smoke flavor, shouldnt overpower anything. Great value, I'll buy again

Doesn’t start lit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a bit disappointed that this charcoal does not stay lit. The packaging is okay, but it just doesn’t stay lit. I can’t speak on much else, as my fire didn’t last long.

Good option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The charcoal was a nice addition to what we’ve previously used. The purchased product did help add some flavor and seemed to have an even heat distribution.

Terrible

We got three bags for an overnight cook and the charcoal was terrible. It was mostly dust and tiny pieces that we blew through way too fast. Will not buy again.

Our Acacia hardwood charcoal is super dense and can burn really hot if left with too much airflow, which might impact how quickly it burns through. Low quality "lump" charcoal

The pieces are very small with lots of dust preventing good airflow. TGCC has their ambasdadors fill out reviews and gives each a Sam's club membership. Most reviews here are paid for

Only Charcoal I'll Use!

This is the only charcoal that I have used in the past 3 years! It burns great (and long) and I love what the company stands for as I believe they are the only certified sustainable charcoal company out here.

not good.

such TINY pieces. they all fall through the grating in my Solo Grill. they’re barely the size of quarters, when lump charcoal is supposed to be the size of a dollar bill. I won’t be able to use this at all.

Good Charcoal gives back

We run a non profit in Atlanta that Good Charcoal brings a BBQ truck to and feeds our clients who come to us for grocery assistance. This is an excellent and clean charcoal that won't leave a bad taste to your food and it is sustainably sourced.
