Blew over in 20 mph wind

I used it one time and it was great. Then a week later I woke up at 1 AM to the crashing sound of it falling over. The propane tank was still mostly full, still not sure what happened but I guess the top of it caught enough air to topple. I had a fitted cover on it as well to protect from rain.

Flimsy & fragile

Set it up, tested it out, and covered it with the members mark cover. Unfortunately, a windy day came and blew the heater over. The frame is bent beyond repair and nuts and bolts are falling out. Now I have to lug this monstrosity back to the store. Save your time and money and avoid this heater -- unless you don't get winds in your neck of the woods.

Do not buy it

We bought 2 patio Heather from Sam’s club 1. Assembling is somehow complicated with missing items new from the box. 2. Blue plastic on the top of everything make it harder to install. 3. We tried several times, with different persons … and NO LIGHT, NO FLAME… nothing My question is: How come Sam’s club doesn’t try the products before selling it to people.!? They should try them and make it easier d’or the end buyer.

Dear Vegas Born, Again I wanted to tell you how sorry we are for all of your troubles. The blue plastic film was only placed on a few thousand heaters out of many thousands of heaters. It was on the heaters for protection as you were told earlier. This was not a normal procedure for Sam's Club, as they specifically ask us not to do this. This was done as an exception, in order to expedite their orders, as demand for the heaters soared beyond expectations. We had read earlier about the confusion in the manuals and those changes have already been made. You, unfortunately, did not receive the updated manual. As to the lighting issue, engineering is looking into this to see if it is possible to completely eliminate the problem. Sam's Club has been buying this heater now for 6 consecutive years and they continue to buy the heater specifically because they are so pleased with the quality of the product. This is reflected in our 4.5 STAR reviews. We are sorry to hear about the troubles you have experienced with your heater. Regarding the missing parts and lighting issues, you should report these by calling our customer service department for assistance at 1-855-CHANT-US (1-855-242-6887) from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern time Monday through Friday for assistance. Regarding the troubles you experienced with the blue plastic wrap, this material is applied in order to protect the product during shipment, We do, however, understand that this can be somewhat difficult to remove. This issue has been reported to the factory and is under review. Again, we are sorry for the troubles you have experienced.

Heater ok but not one arizona winds hit

The weather here is arizona is too windy for this heater and the top is bent and now I’m worried about a gas leak? I paid about $200 for it. Can you have a table top heater dropped off and take this one back? Even if I owe a difference in $ I just don’t want a gas explosion

Broken

Damaged Product

All of the aluminum parts were damaged bent and chipped. It was being put together before noticing the damage. Highly upset!
