[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only owned this dryer for a few months. So far, I'm really happy with this purchase, especially since I got a great deal on it. I really like that it has a number of different features and settings. I haven't used all of them yet. The ones that I have used have worked really well. However, I hope to try every feature and setting at least once. Even though I might not use them all, it's nice to know that I have those options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the unit for about 2 months. It is an upgrade from a LG model purchased 12 years ago. This new model heats very good and completes the drying on one cycle verse my old model. It was worth the upgrade. The color is outstanding but does leave some finger prints. Very please thus far

We like the new Washer & Gas Dryer from LG. First-time LG appliance purchase except for a refrigerator existing in home we purchased (and that is workhorse). Design and style played a part (color, shape, ease-of-use) and thus far about 45 days in it is working very nicely. Quick cycle and load sensor are nice features.

The store did say upon purchase that they couldn’t install the Gas Dryer due to the fact it was Propane Gas and they don’t connect to propane. That I would need to contact my gas provider for hook up. However, my gas company and TB Webber refused to do the job because fear of being sued and voiding warranty. Because actually it not just installing it. The actually Dryer has to be converted to use propane. So I had to by the conversion kit, the machine has to be opened up and it placed inside to convert it before it can be installed. All plumbers and appliance companies don’t do this. This needs to be explained to customers with PROPANE Gas!!!! But now that it’s successfully installed I love it, so quiet and easy to use! However, had to give it a 3 because of nightmare of installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG performs beautifully. Maybe a bit loud on spin cycles, but fine. The frustration is that although it shows that it's connected to the house wi-fi, and I can follow wash progress, it no longer reports when a load is finished, and it stopped recording cycle history.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new washer for a couple of months now and it is fantastic! I consulted Consumer Reports when I was shopping for a new washer and dryer, and LG dominates the top of the ratings, so I felt very confident in my purchase. I appreciate the feature that uses wifi to pair the dryer settings with the washer, so all you have to do is turn on the dryer, load the laundry, and push start! I also like the large capacity size, the suite of features, including the steam features, the drum light, and the ability to stack on top of the washer. The ThinQ app is also very useful because it sends you alerts when the cycle is finished, and gives you reminders on when to run the tub clean cycle in the washer and if your vents need cleaning for the dryer. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wife ordered this recently and the easy use to install and overall general use is fantastic. Love the smart functionality to send me reminders when there are issues and reminders that the cycle is complete. Highly recommend!

What should a dryer do? Dry clothes. This one does a very good job. What should an excellent dryer do? Allow easy control. Not so much. The built-in default settings are good, but I can't easily adjust them. (e.g. it insists on MORE DRY, and won't allow me to override to LESS DRY). The light inside the dryer doesn't work like a regular dryer. I expect the light to be on when the door is open and off when closed, with perhaps an override to temporarily turn on the light when the door is closed. Nope. Open the door? Nothing. You have to POWER ON the dryer. Does the light go off when you close the door and POWER OFF? Nope. The light stays on (for a while). I think the designers got too over-zealous with what they could do with the electronic control of everything.
