The smart features are really good and the dial for the different settings are really nice. I had my old set for 15 years and I hope my new LG last as long or longer. Plus they look amazing!

So far the washer has cleaned our laundry faster, used less soap and water and with far better results. Without any effort other than running the load, stains have come out of clothing that had been marked for years.

First brand new dryer I received didn’t work. Had it replaced with a brand new machine which also didn’t work. Called LG again for help and was told that this is a “known issue.” Their “fix” didn’t work so we returned our washer AND dryer and purchased a different brand. It was a huge hassle and I won’t buy LG again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my washer and dryer for almost 2 months and I finally called customer support because I couldn’t change the settings on either machine. I found out everything is preset and for example you can only use cold water on certain settings. I would like to be able to adjust temperature, time etc for any setting I want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is taking some time getting used to this dryer because of the wetness sensor turning off the dryer before the clothes are dry. It appears you really need to isolate the denser fabric clothing from the less dense or the machine will shut off pre-maturely. This is quite frustrating. However when the clothes are dry, they really come out with a lot less wrinkles. SO after we get used to how it operates it most likely will be the best dryer we have ever owned.

This is my first front load washer. On the first use I thought the thing was possessed and I was going to have to call an exorcist. It made a few turns to the right and stopped. Then a few turns to the left and stopped. It took me awhile to figure out that this was normal. What are they going to think of next? Anyway it has lots of predefined cycles which seem to work well. I like all the options to be able to wash longer, add steam, spin longer, etc.. The only thing that I'm still trying to get better with, is the amount of detergent to use. Instructions state to use the correct amount for a High Efficiency (HE) washer. I've only found one detergent which states it is for HE machines exclusively. All other detergents say they are made for HE machines but instructions for amount to use are for non HE machines and so you wind up putting in too much detergent. With a little more practice I'm sure I'll get this worked out. I've had to switch from using Oxiclean powdered bleach to ALL liquid oxygen bleach since the dispenser container on the washer says not to use powder there. I'm Still trying to get that converted amount right. Overall I really like this machine and am glad I chose LG. It does a good job of getting my clothes clean and has a nice large tub. I washed a thick Queen comforter in it recently and it worked great. I was not able to do that with my last washer. I also purchased the matching Dryer and stacked them. This gave me more room in my laundry room which is a nice bonus.. I chose LG after doing about a month of online research. I read lots of reviews from owners as well as service repair folks that said that LG washer and dryers are as good as it gets. I've only owned these machines for a few weeks now but so far I am impressed and would recommend them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an LG front load washer and dryer that had worked flawlessly for about 10 years at my last house, so when I moved last year I purchased another pair for the new place. So it's been a year now, and they have been trouble free and do a good job. The new units have wifi with an app, which my previous machines didn't have, and it is helpful as it sends me a message when the machine is done or I can check the app to see how much time is left, saving me a needless trip to the basement to check if the laundry is done.

Mine was installed as a stackable unit. I absolutely LOVE the way it washes and dry's my clothes. I'm very tech oriented, so the APP functionality is right up my alley. I totally recommend this product.

If I’m honest I fell in love with all the features and review for the washer and found just as good of review for this dryer. I love it. It’s quiet and loads do not take forever to dry

There is a lot of pre-set settings, but we often just make our own settings. It's quiet, no vibration noise, load capacity very well suited for our family of three. There's many features we have yet to try (bells and whistles) like the Wi-Fi connection and steam setting. Definitely recommend.
